KENTON INTERNATIONAL KITCHEN, BATH & MORE

Our main family bathroom needed a major remodel, the existing tub/shower surround were old, cracking, moldy and the plumbing servicing the bathroom was on the verge of failure.  Prior "renovations" were done by previous home owners using less than quality materials.  The initial consultation with Mike was easy going, very detailed and he explained the materials that Kenton uses and reviewed all possible scope.  An estimated total job cost was offered a few days later and we then visited their showroom to select our actual finish materials, plumbing fixtures, vanity, counter top and accessories.  This was a NO pressure meeting, they didn't push one type of material/manufacturer over another.   A final job cost was then developed and we were scheduled for the project.
A HUGE selling point to my wife and I was the fact that Kenton performs all the work themselves - demolition, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, finishes - nothing for us to coordinate.  Being in the construction industry myself, I know how important this is, especially when this was the only bathroom in the house that had a tub/shower (we had a separate powder room for use during the project).  The duration of the project took nine working days.  We opted to perform all the finish painting work (labor and materials) ourselves to save a little on the total cost.  To clarify the scope, the room was totally gutted top to bottom - down to wall studs, ceiling joist and existing subfloor, all plumbing fixtures, piping and cast iron tub were removed.
Kenton's crew - Mike, Bruce and Andy could not have been more professional, courteous and carrying about their work, our home and family.  I felt like I could leave the house while they performed their tasks and all would be well.  They took great effort to clean up each day, removing all debris, packing materials and vacuumed the floors leading to the work area.  When considering a major renovation project please note:  there WILL BE dirt, dust and noise - it's unavoidable. 
Each day we were informed prior to the crew leaving who would be back the next day and what time they would arrive- again, a very courteous touch in today's world.  
The finish product was unbelievable in terms of details of the carpentry and installation of all the new plumbing and fixtures. The new flooring was laid meticulously.  I give these guys a lot of credit considering nothing was square or plumb in my old house.  My family is extremely satisfied with the job done and we would hire Kenton again for a similar project or perhaps our kitchen in a few years.

We were thrilled with the end result and service throughout the project. The project was completed in a timely manner. The cost of the project was very competitive. The service was excellent. We have recommended Greg to others and will use him again.

They beat Manor House by about $1200 and did an excellent job. The two workers were very considerate and cleaned up daily. Everything went like clockwork. Installation quality was very good. The only issue that I was not completely satisfied with was that after removing the island bulkhead that the refinish of the stippled ceiling was not as seamless as I would have liked. I don't think that it could be helped due to prior construction and the alternative would have been to over lay the entire ceiling. Despite this one item, I was very please with the overall job.

We were very pleased and certainly have already recommended them to others. They were very professional and adhered to the rules of condo association without issue.
