They're great! Very professional and friendly. They were in and out here in 3 days and got everything done and they're very neat. They responded well, they're prompt and they're here when they said they would.

Both brothers were involved in the project from quote to finish and Dave came to check on the job while it was in progress and conducted a final inspection/meeting with me and then a follow-up after the furnace ran for a few weeks to make sure everything was working well and set up properly. The men who did the installation were courteous and professional, did excellent work and cleaned everything up when they were finished. They were actual employees of the company, not sub contractors and I'm learning that this makes a difference with contractors. The office staff is polite and responsive. We couldn't be happier and will recommend the company to any of our friends or family who need a new furnace or repairs. Thanks to the whole Ferguson team.

I actually have a service call with them to do like a routine maintenance coming up next week I believe. A yearly thing they come out once a year before it get's too cold here in western Pennsylvania and take a look at the furnace and make sure everything is in tick top shape.

Ferguson installed 2 units one 2 yrs ago in my mom's house, and last year in mine. My mom's unit has broke 3 or 4 times including the day after they installed it, and mine broke this month after only one year. They told me was an equipment problem, so why keep installing faulty equipment? When I told them I wanted this fixed properly or I was getting an attorney, they hung up on me. Joe used to run a reputable company. Maybe he got to big and just doesn't care anymore? Buy at your own risk. When my mom's unit quit working the day they installed it I thought maybe something came loose during transport, but in hindsight I should have ran the other way. Now it looks as if I will have to purchase window units, for every time it breaks.
Response from Ferguson Heating & Air Conditioning
"The air conditioner was installed in April 2014 and per the accepted proposal the unit has 10-years parts warranty with a 1-year labor warranty. The unit stopped operating on August 6, 2015 and service was requested to diagnosis repair. A wire on the main contractor was burnt causing the unit not to operate. The burnt area was cut off, re-attached to the contractor and unit was in operation and at time of initial service and the technician stated the office would order a factory replacement part to eliminate another occurrence. The next business day our office staff called the customer and stated the contractor was under warranty and even though the 1-year labor warranty expired we would return at no charge to replace the part. The husband stated the unit failed again and the office dispatched a technician to replace the contractor. The wife then stated she was going to going to post it all over the Internet and anyplace she can. Going to bring a class action suit against us for everything and is going to sue us. Again the office person stated the part was to be replaced at no charge. Within the next few hours a technician returned and contractor was replaced at no charge to the customer, unit was operating upon completion of service. Per customer concerns: Our company employs 18 people and yes a different person may return at a job site due to availability of a person closest to a job site or who maybe on call for an evening or weekend. Why would you call an attorney when the office stated the part would be replaced at no charge even though the labor warranty expired? Yes, her mother’s air conditioner did fail due to a manufacture defective part not an installation defect. Replacement parts were installed and the unit was in operation at no expense to the customer. As any heating/air conditioning company that purchases equipment from manufactures, any failures are disturbing and not compensated by the manufacture of equipment and are beyond the control of the company that purchases and installs them. As a service company, our only thought is why would you post a poor review when service and provided after the warranty expired at no charge to the customer. The air conditioner was repaired the same day as requested."

From beginning to end Joe and his staff were very friendly and helpful. The initial consultation was quick but thorough and we agreed to the price shortly there after. We felt the pricing was very fair based on the work that had to be done which included some electrical. We were initially told it would be about two weeks from down payment to install, but Ferguson was able to actually get us installed within a week after we accepted the contract and make a down payment.  The workers that came to the house were great. They were respectful and worked hard to get the job done over the two days they were there. They did not leave any dirt, and always cleaned up areas after they were done. Joe then came by a week or so afterwards to make sure we were satisfied and we were. In all they installed two Mitsubishi mini split A/C units(one 12k btu and one 9k btu) as well as ran electrical outside for disconnect boxes.
We also use Ferguson for our boiler maintenance and they are always great with that as well. Would highly recommend them to anyone in the New Ken/Lower Burrell area.

The owners care a lot about their business.  They show up in person to give an estimate and they appear once the work is complete to make sure their employees did everything right.  My basement was cleaner after the guys were finished than it was before they showed up!  They are a great company.  Very trust worthy.

The technician was very thorough and honest. He explained everything to me. I've used them before and was impressed by owner and his expertise and his overall manner in terms in giving me an estimate.
