It went very well. The quality was very good, responsiveness and interactivity were great. I couldn't recommend John (and his wife Jan) more highly.

It went well in some way.  We had issues in other ways.  They were over billing based on the weekly, hourly billings that we had to call.  They always corrected them but it was a little unnerving that it was pretty consistent.  One of the workers decided on his own to cut back our shrubs to make room for his ladder without asking if we were home.  It wasn’t even necessary and it was disturbing.  They trampled our plantings on the ground.  When I complained about it, they brought in a little platform.  I wonder why they didn’t do that to begin with.  One of the windows they had clearly painted over an issue and didn’t fix it.  They took six weeks when they told me that ii could be done in two weeks.  Apparently he told his workers that they could do it in four weeks and then it took six weeks.  The billing came to 25% over the estimate.  It was not clear what the member said at horrendous.  The last day the owner himself showed up.  I thought that he had come to kind of look over the project.  Instead he was here to pick up his tools.  That was a little disappointing.  They charged us for their lunch break on the last day though they were here only till 11.30.  Most of the work was well done.
