The owner thoroughly explained the job he was going to do and showed the materials he would use. He called me himself to set up the appointment. His team was mannerly and each did his own job. The team worked well together and completed the job in one day. I was amazed! The owners, father and son, were here with the team the whole time. They even hauled away some items I wanted to get rid of and offered to come back to move things back into.place. in addition, the price was much less than I expected and was started and completed within a few days of the initial contact.

In my 42 year-old home with a poured concrete foundation I noticed some dampness following a major rainstorm that seems to go away until the next rainstorm, when a larger wet spot appeared. I regraded the ground outside to see if that alleviated the problem, which it did not. We had a particular wet month and black mold and a five foot wet spot appeared along an interior wall. I contacted Ryan at Basement Medics and he dug down and located several cracks along a poured joint. Re also removed sheet rock inside and revealed a six foot long crack. He placed a barrier outside and used a graphite mesh and resin patch inside to seal the crack. After curing, he replaced the sheet-rock, taped and sanded for painting. Finally, in his clean-up he treated the trained carpet with a chemical that completely eliminated the trace of damage. Good as new. All along he kept me informed and followed up on his work. It has been four wet months but zero leaking.

My old sump pump broke and I was ankle deep in water. It was a holiday weekend and Bob answered the call and came ready to replace my sump pump. He was very informative and very professional and finished the job in no time and didn't seem to mind me watching and asking many questions. I would highly recommend this company.

I have had numerous contracors work on my home recently and I rate Bob and Ryan Cunliffe at the top of the list. The inspection and assessment of the job was done on site by co-owner Ryan Cunliff . He willingly and patiently gave honest straightforward answers to my questions with no pushy sales pitches or pressure. We talked to several companys before choosing Basement Medics to do the work in our crawl space. It included over 200 linear feet of drainage trench, three sump pumps with two water powered backups installed and the insulation and encapsulation of our crawl space. The owners were on site throughout the whole project and participated with their employees in the very difficult work of crawling around a 33" high 60 year old crawl space chopping and digging for a week. Projects like this are not cheap but when you see what they have to go through to do it you understand the cost. Their employees were polite and always cleaned up after each day. Bob and Ryan went out of their way to be sure I was satisfied with the project. They are ethical, honest and competent. You can not ask for more.

They were very kind and also did an amazing clean-up job. My mother was fighting cancer and they tried to keep the dust to a minimum and worked around her treatments. They were extremely professional and also compassionate given my mother's condition. As far as the finished product, I could not be happier. This is a family run company with integrity. I would highly recommend them to others.

Can't say enough about the owner, Bob Cunliffe, the owner. He inspected, quoted, my job (no high pressure salesmen) and supervised the crew., total hands on. He's got 40+ years experience and provided the best cost effective solution for my chronic basement water problem . I interviewed 3 other companies and it was no contest. I was most impressed with his comprehensive approach, integrating new french drains with new outside gutters, concrete walkway, and landscaping. He managed all the contractors and took total responsibility for my project. Bob was very professional and working with him was easy and comfortable. The job came in on time and on budget, with a lifetime transferable warranty. What more can you ask for! Would highly recommend.

Bob and Ryan did an amazing job waterproofing out basement. After many years of flooding, we finally spent the best money we could have spent and we have not had a flood since. They put a french drain around the perimeter of the basement and added another sump pump. They are extremely knowledgeable, honest and fair. I have highly recommended them to people in our neighborhood and to other friends as well. They did a great job!!!!!!!!!

Bob is a great guy. He gig a titch and put a pipe to the drain to pit, a great job! It work every penny. He also helped set the pump foundation and re-connect the discharge pipe.

I can't speak higher of these guys. They went above and beyond when installing an exterior french drain in the back of my house. As they were finishing up, it began to pour rain and they saw my back gutter was clogged. They grabbed a ladder and in the pouring rain, unclogged the gutter. They're fast, clean, kind and fair. I've recommended them to all my friends.
