"Thank you so much for your kind words. We appreciate your business and look forward to being your sweep for life"
"I apologize for the inconvenience of your appointment. This is our busiest time of year and unfortunately our schedule really reflects that this year. The technicians did make me aware of not having the thimble that they purchase at the mason yard, for the first time the mason yard decided to close on that weekend due to Thanksgiving which we did not anticipate. I will make a note of this on your account and we will also make a note to give you a $25 dollar discount off your next service as an apology for your inconvenience. Thank you so much for your review and we look forward to being your sweep for life."
"Thank you so much for your kind words and we look forward to being your sweep for life. Thanks again!!"

"Thank you so much for your kind words about our technicians. They take a lot of pride in their work and I am glad to hear that is reflected in the job that they do. We look forward to being your sweep for life."
"Hello, Thank you for your review. I did check our files, it looks like there were 2 inspections done at your property the day of service, I also saw a note in there to go back and remeasure for a chase cover since it was very wet out that day and the roof was pretty steep. I do apologize that the follow up appointment was overlooked by the secretaries when they entered the job details back into the computer. If you would like to have them come out and measure for the cap, please call me and I will schedule your appointment as well as give you a discount off the chase cover for our mistake. Thank you again and we look forward to being your sweep for life - Heather Wakefield Office Manager"
"Thank you so much for your kind words. We are glad to hear that you are happy with the Heatshield job. We look forward to being your sweep for life"

It is disheartening to learn of a reputable company that, in doing the service contracted for, will "discover" something that needs fixing, and an expensive fix at that. This often happens more with women home owners?and especially those with gray hair! Fortunately, I have common sense and have found reliable people to give me an honest assessment of what my chimney needs.
"Hello, Thank you for your review. I wanted to first let you know I checked with Mr Anderson to see if he received an email from you about your concerns, we double checked and an email was not received by us. The procedure that was quoted to you was using our product Heat Shield which we are certified installers of that product. I did look at your pictures from the day of your appointment and the flue clearly has cracks in the flue tiles and also missing mortar joints in between the tiles. Because of the cracks and missing joints this makes the chimney flue against NFPA (national fire prevention agency) code 211. Our technicians were correct in their assessment of the flue and they by law as a certified sweep must deem the system unusable if it does not meet the code requirements . I am very sorry if the Heat Shield procedure was not explained to you thoroughly, if you would like further details on how the process is done please feel free to contact me in the office either by phone or email and I would be more than happy to explain it to you. I don't ever want a customer to feel like they were not treated fairly for any reason, this industry has a lot of scammer companies that do tend to prey on females and the elderly. My goal is to ALWAYS set us above those companies by making our customers feel like a customer and not a number. If I can answer any questions for you, please don't hesitate to call or email me. Thanks so much..Heather Wakefield Office Manager"
"I'm sorry that you feel this way, I looked at your account and it looks like we did send our guys out to your property about 4 times to complete the job to your expectations. In reviewing the estimate give the pictures that you sent and the pictures the technicians took it does look like my guys did everything that was quoted on the original estimate and a little more actually just to ensure that you were pleased with the work. I'm sorry if you feel that management did not handle your concerns in the way you would have liked. If there is anything we can do to keep you as a customer please don't hesitate to contact our office. And again I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused."
During the inspection they found some damage to the inside of the chimney and showed me a photo taken from the roof. They presented me with an estimate of $2145 for what appears to be a new process of chimney coating that will help restore and protect it. I wasn't expecting this and am wondering if there's not a different and perhaps more reasonably priced way to protect the inside of the chimney. I looked on Angie's list for an alternative and there's only one other chimney sweep/repair company listed. I know Anderson has an excellent reputation so I'm not suspicious that the problem detected is not real. I'm just cautious and don't have lots of resources, so I want to proceed with caution and I don't want to pay huge amounts of interest if I go ahead with the job and finance it.
"Thank you so much for your kind words. The process the technicians were referring to was Heatshield. I have dropped our brochure in the mail for you which is very informative on how the process is done, also if you would like, give me a call in the office and I would be more than happy to go over the process in full detail with you, as well as any other options that may be available other than Heatshield. Thanks again for being a loyal customer and we look forward to being your sweep for life --Heather Wakefield Office Manager"
"Thank you for your review. I checked your file from your last appointment. I do apologize for the ladder mix up, we have several full size service vans that carry the 40' ladders and 2 of the Transit vans which do not have the 40' ladders on them. I have made a note on your account for future appointments to make sure we always send a full size service truck to your location with the tall ladders on it. Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention and we look forward to being your sweep for life."
