Whispering Meadows Workshop

Overall this was the best renovation experience we have ever had. His attention to detail was incredible, and asked us about things wehad not considered, like directions doors should open, shelf options, etc. Basically things no other contractor has ever asked. He presented us with several species of wood to consider for the project, and also spent an unknown amout of time visiting pint stores to match the stain on the new unit to the rest of the kitchen. His communication was excellent throughtout the project, getting our input/approval each step of the way. It was nice to have no surprises!
The installation of the unit was very well thought out on his part, and it is secured to the wall and concrete floor to make it extremely stable. We do alot of baking and the island gets quite a workout, but this one will not budge. Hand in hand with that, we will be able to take it with us if we ever move, which is great because it is more of a piece of furniture than a cabinet.
he was also able to construct the island so we could reuse our tile countertop. This was a great relief, as we loved the tiles and didn't think we could replace them.

He deconstructed the worst area in the kitchen. He built a custom cabinet. It fits the countertop, and increased our storage space. It looks like a piece of furniture. He really did a wonderful job.
