Horvath's Chimney Service

I have a gas fireplace that has never been cleaned in the 9 years since my house was built.  I contacted them to schedule an appointment and they responded very quickly and we traded a few emails.  They arrived today a few minutes early, were very polite and friendly and cleaned my chimney.  They added extra filling as part of their service since it was needed.  The offered suggestions on how to care for the fireplace and how often to clean it.  They didn't try to sell me on their services to have it cleaned annually but were honest on how often it should be done -- every 2 years but only since it's started to get a little corrosion.  If not for the corrosion starting they said it would only need cleaning maybe every 5 years since it's gas and burns very clean.  They were finished in just over a half hour, cleaned up after themselves, we chatted for a bit while I wrote out a check and they were on their way.  They were great and I would definitely have them back to service the chimney again!

The experience was good. They did everything I asked and they even came back to fix some things that wasn't quite right. They were professional and everything went well.

Very prompt called me on day of service and even asked if they could arrive a little earlier than scheduled. Service was very professional and thorough. Would recommend to anybody.

Scheduling was easy--went through a service that did it for the company. Then I had a conflict and had to reschedule and called company directly and easily rescheduled for same time the next day. Mr. Horvath was prompt, did a thorough job, kept the area all around the fireplace clean, and had the chimney cap ready to install when cleaning and inspection were complete. No complaints, and the price ($125 for cleaning and inspection, $25 for metal chimney cap) was great, too.

The job went as planned and was performed professionally. The only issue was some left over stucco splashed on a window.

Jason was easy to work with and did a fast, quality job. He did his work in a continual light rain, followed by a downpour, so there was some roof runoff from the stucco and I had to call him back-he came out right away and took care of the problem. Also, I was unhappy with the color of the stucco when it was wet. I wouldn't believe it would dry to the right color (which it did), and he was just very easy to deal with on all issues.
