The contractor installed the floor incorrectly from the beginning. They installed the tiles unevenly with many high corners. In addition over time several tiles have come loose and all the grout is cracking. They came back several times to try and fix the problem but just put a band aid on the real issue. Josh claims the floor was uneven and that is not his problem. It's my understanding that when someone has a new floor installed you shouldn't have to explain that it should be level...I've since had the tile manufacturers rep and three contractors come out to look at the floor. All experts agree that the tile was not installed correctly and the only way to solve the problem is to remove the floor and start over. The groute cracked all along the area where the counter meets the groute on the backsplash. The used grouts and should have used silicone caulk. You would think an experienced tile installer would know that. Josh refuses to claim responsibility and is now not communicating. Stay away from this contractor. He is a low grade inexperienced contractor that will cost you more in the long run.
