He went above and beyond to try to help us not have to buy a new oven. He does a very nice job, cleans up, is efficient, reliable and reasonably priced. I'd highly recommend him.

Bill Hillman & Pat Callahan did an AMAZING job.  The workmanship is excellent & the price is fair.  They do exactly what they say they will do for the agreed upon price.  They are friendly, easy to work with, great communicators and do an outstanding job.  I highly recommend them, especially carpentry, they are master carpenters.  They come up with creative solutions to problems and the outcome is magnificent.  

I was coming off a terrible contractor who abandoned the job site when Bill was reminded to me.  Bill not only had to redo a lot of the previous contractor's work, but start in the middle of the job with existing sub-contractors (electrician, plumber & HVAC).  The transition was seamless and the work was of the highest quality.    Bill even came to small claims court with me to help me reclaim some of they money lost to the first, bad contractor.  He went above and beyond and I am very grateful for his professionalism.

Having a complete kitchen remodel can be daunting. Mr. Hillman designed the remodel and generated the pictures electronically which helped tremendously in getting a visual of what my kitchen would look like. As well, there are so many choices one has with regard to product to choose from and I was a bit overwhelmed. Mr. Hillman actually went with me to assist in choosing my cabinets and flooring. The finished product well exceeded my expectations. The woodworking and framing around my doors and windows that Mr. Hillman created in my kitchen are flawless and look beautiful. The workmanship and quality showcase his art and dedication to his craft. He and his crew are professional, thoughtful, friendly and quick. They showed up on time everyday and are a pleasure to work with. Working with William Hillman Carpentry was a great experience and I would hire them again for additional services.

Mr. Hillman is not licensed, he did not provide the sealed drawings that our township requires or obtain the additional permits for structural work, he did not contact the township for final inspection and he had the previous owner apply for the permit with a drawing he did that misrepresents the job as "foot bridge repair to railings" when in fact he (attempted to) build a brand new bridge. We bought the house in 2013 and the bridge is now falling apart. Screws are popping out, he did not sink the footings in concrete, the type of would he used does not appear to be pressure treated and is not listed on his permit drawing and is now splitting. I have called Mr. Hillman repeatedly, to date I have scheduled two appointments with Mr. Hillman, the most recent was set for this morning at 8:30. He did not show up for the first appointment and he didn't show up this morning! What type of person does this? One you don't want to hire!
