 + -1 moreGlenn came up with a plan to remove some of the overgrown shrubs and for new plantings. One of the suggestions was to use stone instead of mulch to minimize the need to weed the beds. A lot of our neighbors have done this and decide this was a good idea considering our ages and physical limitations. He gave us the name of two stone providers and also met with us at the Rose-Joelle Nursery to review his selection of shrubs/flowers. As a result of visiting Rose-Joelle and the stone providers, we were able to select the stone color and other nursery products we really liked. We are extremely please with work he performed and he exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Glenn and will continue to use him for other improvements and maintenance work.
Description of Work: We met Glenn when he was doing some work for our next door neighbor. He has also done a lot of work in our development for other neighbors. He also did some pruning of a weeping cherry tree and removed a pole from our property previously. We purchased this home in June 2012 and wanted to upgrade the the plantings. Based on his reputation and the above work performed, we contacted Glenn to do the project. We didn't want to go through a lot of other contractors as Glenn knows what can and cannot be done in our development. We did ask the firm that does the mowing/plowing for us and a large number of other neighbors to come up with a plan and pricing; however, he did not get back to us.
