They are outstanding on every dimension. They are great advocates when dealing with insurance companies. They are fast. The quality of the work is good. But the best part is the way that they are always doing a little something extra to help out. Three examples: 1) We came in with our 2005 workhorse car, which is in rough shape. We were rear-ended by a guy on a cell phone, which caused some frame damage. Many years ago, we lost a wing mirror on that car, and it was repaired poorly. The door panel was still bent, creating a lot of wind noise. I asked the guys if they could give me an estimate for making a really basic repair to it while they were assessing the other damage. The car is not worth putting a lot of money into, so I was looking for some very low-grade repairs. When I picked up the car, they had done a great job pulling the panel back into shape. AND THEY DID IT FOR NO CHARGE. Seriously. They fixed a long-standing problem with our car for no charge, just because. 2) When we moved to PA from MI, we weren't able to get the MI tags off the car--the plastic bolts they used were completely stuck. So we'd rigged the PA license plate to cover the MI one. When we picked up the car, they had replaced the MI plate with the PA one. They felt that it was such a small thing that they didn't even mention it to us. But for a pair of professionals with two small kids, that was HUGE. 3) Our car was broken into on the street, and we had to get a window replaced. The frame of the window had a gouge, so Armstrong fixed that as well. When they opened up the door, they discovered that the new glass had been installed so poorly that it could spontaneously shatter at any time. They reinstalled the glass for us and informed our insurance company of the glass company's negligence. I recommend Armstrong to everybody I know. They are great people.
Description of Work: I've actually hired Armstrong motors 7 times. 4 of those were body repairs from anonymous knocks while parked on the street, paid for by my insurance company. 2 were damage paid for by another driver's insurance. 1 was damage that I did to the car, paid for by my insurance. The work included repairing frame damage, fixing paint damage, dents and scratches, and more seriously damaged panels. The work was done on two cars: a 2005 workhorse car and a 2010 everyday car.
