Patrick Landscapes

It went horribly!  Chad Patrick is quite a "talker" and claims to have knowledge and experience with EP Henry products but has no idea what he is doing.  He made a mess of our yard in preparation for the job.  He would show up every once in awhile and work for an hour or two at most (confirmed by our neighbors who were watching for us.)   He used the wrong base so the retaining wall is already sinking and crooked.  He used the wrong mix of retaining wall sizes which would cause future problems (too many seams in line with each other / not staggered).  We complained about the extremely poor quality of his work and requested he end the job, leaving us with a complete mess.  He then sent us a bill claiming that the job was 90% complete!  We had already paid him for half of the job up front. On the job site was only about $2200 worth of material.  He had a few hours labor but kept all $6500.  We had an attorney send him a letter requesting settlement but he did not even respond to the attorney letter.   He is quite delusional about his work and abilities.  If he would have been honest that he had no knowledge or experience working with the products, we could have respected him much more but he was not honest.  In the end, we needed to hire a reputable landscaper to tear down the retaining wall and correctly complete the job per EP Henry's specs.
