Our kitchen outlets were not working we called and had an appointment for that week. Our window was 11-3pm they arrived at 3 so be prepared . They are popular. They were on it immediately and fixed it they rewired 3 outlets so they were working they patiently explained what had been wrong and what they had done to fix it. Very professional and efficient

Our Technician Bob was very professional, he gave us brought things to our attention that we would have missed and could have potentially been a problem. I am making another appointment today to get the things that he recommended be fixed looked at.

From scheduling the appointment with Lorelle Marie to the technicians arriving and completing the work, this was a pleasant experience. The kindness and professionalism Lorelle Marie displayed was great. She answered my questions and promptly called back with the answer to questions she wasn't able to answer initially. When I received a follow up call from her to see if I was completely satisfied, I had to smile while talking to her. The technicians (sorry i don't recall their names) arrived within the scheduled window, asked a few questions and got to work and had the job done in no time and even switched out my three way (since it wouldn't work with the ceiling fan). Finally (and most importantly for a person on a tight budget) the price was very reasonable and well below the quote I received from another provider I spoke to from Angie's list. I almost went with that person but THANK GOD I had the presence of mind to call VLD. I will definitely use VLD again for my electrical needs.

Ran into a problem in that the new fan out of the box was defective. They had to charge us, but they stayed while my husband went for a replacement and then completed the installation without the need to come back. They were on time, careful of our possessions as they maneuvered the 16 ft ladder and were friendly and knowledgeable.

We called VLD because we needed our flat-screen TV mounted. We originally had made arrangements with a general contractor, but he was unreliable and said he couldn't make it. Feeling disgusted by all the unprofessional and unreliable people we've been dealing with in the Pocono area, we decided to call VLD, after seeing their commercial a few weeks ago. Our tech's name was Bobby, and it will be Bobby who will do ALL our electrical work from today on. He was knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and professional. He fished wires, put up the new wall mount, and installed our TV using meticulous measures. We are very satisfied with the work done by Bobby and will use Bobby and VLD come spring when we start our next project. I give VLD 5-STARS.

I don't remember what they did, I remember that I was pleased, actually. I really don't know for price. I think I got one of those specials through Angie's List. I think that's why I got them. I wouldn't have used them if their responsiveness wasn't good.

The job was done exactly as planned - they showed up on time and were very courteous and professional. The alerted me of any issues as soon as they found them and made sure that I was ok with their corrective action. I will have them back to do some additional work in the future.

They returned my call promptly, and set up an appointment. Vito and assistant arrived at the scheduled time, did the job promptly and efficiently. I was very pleased with the service. Very well! They not only replaced a faulty receptacle but diagnosed a problem i didn't even know I had. The builder had installed two GFCI receptacles on the same circuit which had one protecting the other and they were constantly tripping. Now all is well, this is the second time I have used them and can't be more pleased !

Arrived within an hour of calling. Disconnected generator to have it moved for concrete work. They will be back to reconnect it. We used them on another job when we had our gas range installed. They were efficient, pleasant and we are very pleased with their work.

When we called, they came later that afternoon to check out the job. They started 2 days later after quoting a good price and getting our go ahead. We called another company, they were way more expensive. VLD is a local, family run company we knew of from church.
When they came to do the work, my husband was at the house doing other work. VLD was professional, efficient and extremely patient. My husband asked a dozen questions which were answered thoroughly.
They finished the job in two days. The second day, they stayed until after 7 to finish up.
They were easy to work with to pay our bill.
We called a month later because we wanted additional work done. Vito came right over to the house to discuss it with us. He offered a few options on how we could handle our situation. He also included different pricing scenarios depending on what we wanted to do. Again, very helpful and patient.

Very quickly found that fan had dead battery and also dead motor which caused some confusion on my part.very simple operation which they handled professionally.They were also very neat and cleaned up nicely,I would use them again in a minute !

All workers at VLD were very professional and efficient. Our non-emergency visit was scheduled very quickly. They replaced old wiring from our home to the garage. Everything was done to code and we were very happy with the way they worked. They replaced all soil over the trench that had to be dug. We feel much safer knowing that the wires are now traveling to the garage in an updated and secure manner. All electrical service to the garage was restored.

These guys are fantastic. Brian and Bob showed up on time, were polite and extremely knowledgeable. We recently purchased a 40+ year-old mountain home and the bathroom vents were installed on the shower walls. Rather than get electrocuted while showering, we opted to have new ones installed in the proper place in our bathrooms. Brian and Bob took a look at the layout, knew precisely where to install the new fans in relation to where the wiring likely ran and as I was told in advance prior to starting the job (both at scheduling time and on-site), would have to cut a small additional hole in the drywall ceiling to feed the exhaust, since we have no attic access. They found exactly where the existing wiring ran, did very clean work, replaced the drywall after they cut access and cleaned up everything. I will have to spackle the repair but that was told to me in advance so no surprise there. The price was very competitive and they even gave me a discount since I purchased my own fans, as they quoted me for supplying the equipment. I would not hesitate to use V.L.D. electric for any and all of my electrical work. Since this is a second home, it's good to know I have found a trustworthy resource. Thanks, V.L.D.
