I purchased a used Ford Escape from Ray Price Ford at their Mt. Pocono location for $5000. Although the car was "As-is," they provided what they said was a complete list of problems. I had them fix those problems for about $500. 800 miles later I took it in for a state inspection. At that time they found $1700 of problems. I had no choice, so I had these fixed. This week, with still less than 1000 miles driven by us, the K-Frame under the engine fell apart while I was driving. The wheel almost fell off. It was very lucky I was only going 20 MPH. Repairs for this are over $2000 - but I have to trash the car since I cannot trust it. Ray Price Ford will do nothing, citing that it was sold "As-is."
