We do it about every six weeks. Generally their prices are a little high but I really like the service. The wait time was 5 minutes, it wasn't long. It wasn't a vet who did it, it was just a tech. They take him back, I am not with him when they do that. I don't see it first hand. I know he doesn't like it, he hates to go. I can't say that I blame him and I don't know that it is not necessarily their faulty. I really liked one of their vets but she left. I am trying to find another vet there that I like as well, she got along really well with my dog. I have been going there for about five years, they know my dog and he knows them. They are very responsive, every time I have called, I have been able to get my dog seen, I have been able to get things taken care of very quickly/ quite often the same day. I also unfortunately one time had to reschedule an appointment last minute because an emergency came up and they were very accommodating. Everybody there seems to genuinely love the animals. I feel like it is a good safe place for my dog.

I am always pleased with this animal hospital. I have been taking my dogs there for over 10 years now. The staff is always very nice and professional. I will say that I think they are abit pricey, but all and all, I would recommend them to anyone.

On the plus side, you can get an appointment very quickly when necessary. But the vets always seem to be in a hurry, and don't take the time to observe, listen, and examine. There may be a miscommunication with their techs, who are very good with my cats, but had a problem with my dog. In short, vet completely missed the correct diagnosis with my dog. Fortunately, my regular vet for my dog, figured out what was going on (pretty quickly), prescribed the correct course of treatment for him. Prognosis is guarded, but on the
right track. My advice... trust your instincts with your pets, if things aren't improving and don't seem right, go elsewhere for another opinion, it could save their life.

We have taken all family pets here for 2 years and also dogs that we foster for a national organization. They have great hours, including early a.m. and weekends, it's easy to schedule an appointment, the staff is friendly, the space is large and clean. the only thing is that they tend to recommend a lot of tests but I trust my dogs with them completely. They can be pricey

I have a number of wonderful stories to tell, but I think the most important point is this: We trust these veterinarians without a single reservation.

My Yorkie was very ill and I made an appt @ Companion Animal Hospital which is within 10 minutes of my home. The dog was hospitalized overnite for meds, and an IV. When I signed the animal hospital papers I was given an estimated bill of over $800.00 for a 3 night stay of which I put $350.00 down on the bill. The next day the vet recommended taking the dog home and evaluate how well she tolerated her food. Because the dog was @ the hospital less than 30 hrs, I felt I probably would get a credit on some of the $350.00 paid. Instead when I picked up the pet I was charged an additional $255.00 and given an itemized bill totaling $605.00 for services received.
I used this vet because it was close to my residence and my dog was sick. Hindsight taught me I should have waited a few hours until my regular vet could see her. Instead I opted to get into a slightly earlier appointment @ Companion due to being very worried about her.
The service @ Companion is o.k. and the young veterinarian was very nice and informative. However, niceness doesn't justify the outrageous charge. Should my dog get sick again I will call my regular vet and hope they have available openings. I know now why it is so hard to get into THEIR office. They don't charge an arm and a leg!

Ok. Surgeries were ok, but I just don't trust this practice anymore.

The doctors there are very excellent, very professional and very knowledgeable. There were two doctors who have taken care of my two cats and they were Dr. Libby and Dr. Zimmerman.

If it wasn't for the care my Beagle received, I feel he would not be alive today. He has had many 3 surgeries in the past two years. Two of the procedures were actually less then the estimate and one was right on the estimate. The staff was great at explaining options and costs. When it came time for surgery, they were kind enough to put my dog's favorite blanket in the crate with him. The doctor's and staff would call several times to report on his condition and once he came home, they would call to make sure he was still doing well. They were always there to answer any questions. As a former Vet Tech, I have worked with many doctors at several hospitals and I can say that Companion Animal Hospital is the best! I have worked with all the doctor's, but I have to admit that Dr. Zimmerman is my favorite!

My Golden is always so excited to go there even though she's had many visits with the usual lab tests (ouch!) and surgery to be spayed. She still loves them all. They are totally professional. And -- you can tell -- they just love animals!

The first time I saw Dr. Zimmerman, I left crying because he liked my dog. Sparky was a very difficult dog to handle. He was an Aussie Cattle Dog, energetic and protective. I had been to several other vets; all terrible experiences; including one that told me I should put him down b/c he attacked a puppy that wondered into our yard. But this was a completely different experience. Dr. Zimmerman walked me through how to I was to handle him during the exam. He didn't use a muzzle and he didn't try to dominate. It was AMAZING. He liked my dog and thought Sparky was doing a good dog job.
Over the next eight year, we saw Both Dr. Libby and Dr. Nixon too. They were all great with Sparky, inspite of his growls and hackles. Sparky was diagnosed with liver tumors and Dr Nixon went through options and treatments, and was supportive when I decided that it would not be good for a dog of Sparky's age and constitution to go through surgery. We moved and I had to visit another vet for medicine to manage his pain and urination issues, but when it came time to discuss his declining heath and end of like I went back to Companion.
Dr. Zimmerman came out to the car and carried Sparky in because he couldn't walk after a recent seizure. The office staff was very kind. They sent us a card and paw print. Wonderful place.

They are very nice. A lot of people think the price is high, but I trust them and their care has been great. Dr. Zimmerman was wonderful with my cat. They called twice yesterday to report on her and they gave her medication for pain. They care about people and their pets. When I had a cat put to sleep, they made a mold of her paw print and sent me a sympathy card signed by everyone there. It was very sweet.

We have seen all the vets and they are all great. They explain everything carefully to you, explore options and are very loving to the animals. Clearly, the entire staff truly love animals which helps them provide outstanding care. They were so gentle to our old sick cat and so caring when he was put to sleep. The clinic is a bit of a drive from my house but it is well worth the extra time.

I thought my previous vet was great and was afraid that I would not find one as good in this area. Companion Animal Hospital is BETTER than my previous vet. I drive past many other vets to go to this one but it is worth the drive. They are compassionate and knowledgable. They are wonderful at routine care and even better when our old cat was sick. The pros and cons and realistic expectations were laid out for us. Unfortunately, we had to have our cat put to sleep, and the compassion with which this was done was amazing. The entire office truly cares about all animals. We are lifetime customers. We have not had issues with wait times. Prices seem fair.

This place is very accommodating and does a great job with my dog as she requires a little extra care. She is an anxious dog and they work at calming her down and take their time. Sometimes there is a small wait but they try hard to get you in right away.
