Jim and Karen started the business in 1986. We are the original Jim's tree service serving Northampton and Leigh County in Pa. Warren, Sussex, Morris, Hunterdon County's in New Jersey. We are owner operators with our crew. From the first call to Karen @ 1-800-793-0465, we work around your schedule to look at the work, and to do the work. We provide an honest prompt dependable service. We do not get paid until you are satisfied. Beware of other tree services that want a deposit, because most of the time they do not show up. We've used him multiple times. He's always done real nice work for us. Affordable. Real nice guy. I thought the tree was going to take about $5000 to take down the tree. It was about 100 feet and about 10 feet from my house. Some trees I'll cut myself, but this thing was about 4-feet wide at the base. They took it down piece by piece. Jim and his wife, who works with him, are real nice people. They are not a large company, so they can't have someone here immediately. But they definitely get someone here.

Tree was very close to house and careful removal was necessary to avoid damage to structure. Jim removed the tree with no problems and in a very professional way. He had to move his equipment (bucket truck & grinder) onto the lawn near the house and used heavy duty mats so that my lawn was not damaged. Jim was on the job and supervising his crew during the entire time he was here.
