Faust Repair

The hydraulic pump blew a seal. Doug told me which parts I needed. I found them at a dealer, brought them over, and he fixed the mower in a couple days, adjusting all controls and making it like new. Not bad for a 12 year old machine! The charge was minimal considering the expertise required.

I'm never going anywhere else again! I priced out several services to see if it was worth repairing or scrapping my 2 ride on mowers and leaf blower. One mower is 18 plus years old the other over 13 yrs old. other services wanted much more for pick up and delivery and also wanted up to $70 each vehicle for an evaluation.The Faust's charged $10 for pickup and $10 for delivery total. the estimate was free and the one 18 year old tractor was repaired, tuned up and running perfectly when I received it back. Unfortunately the 13 yr old tractor and leaf blower weren't worth repairing. Total cost for everything $195. These guys are fantastic, Friendly, honest, and really make you feel like an appreciated customer. I was away the day when Walter dropped off my tractor and he even said I could pay him Later!! Don't ever go anywhere else. Honest caring folks like these are impossible to find.

Screw on housing unit on top of lawn mower came off.  Was not able to pull cord to start mower.  When I dropped it off, it was offered to do a tune-up.  Since the mower hasn't had one in a number of years, I figured it would be a good idea.  Was told that the tune-up was $70 and it turned out being $72.  As part of the tune-up a carb kit was added for $6.00.  Would be helpful to advise customers that an add-on is recommended or is part of the tune-up. I was expecting a bill of $70 and was surprised when it came to $78.00. 
They tightened/shortened the cord which was good and helpful as it was too long (from a previous repair from a company in Clifton Heights a couple of years ago).  The customer and repair service were outstanding and I would use them again.  Perhaps I could be more clear about calling me regarding ad-ons.

Spoke to Walter on the phone as to what I needed done to my lawnmower and leaf blower.  He picked them up the following day (no charge).  Walter did explain to me that it was the busy season and that it might take up to two weeks to preform services. He called me up the next week (to the day) to say that the equipment was ready and could he could drop them off the next day.  I explained to him that I wouldn't be around to meet and pay him.  He stated that it wasn't a problem and that he would leave a bill and that I could mail him a check.  He left me a bill and a self addressed, stamped envelope.  The lawnmower is 10 years old and the leaf blower is over 25 years old.  Both machines have never run better.  It is so refreshing that there are still people out there that believe in customer service.  I cannot say enough about what a positive experience this was.  Walter is the man!!

Great team to work with. Convenient pick up and drop off for lawn tractor. Tractor does not leak gas anymore and runs better than ever.

I love the owner and my neighbors are using him too. I don't remember the price, but it wasn't very expensive at all. There is nothing to dislike. He is personable, came to my house and picked up the snow blower. He took it, fixed it, kept us updated on how the repairs were going and what additional things he found. He then brought it home happy.

Faust has a pick up and deliver van, they are efficient, and on time and all calls are returned the same day. I recommend this company to anyone who needs their services.

Contacted provider late on a Saturday afternoon, figuring we would just leave a message, but they called back within the hour and asked if they could come by and pick up the lawn mower and power washer that day. They came within 2 hours, were very pleasant. They called with an estimate early the next week, it sounded reasonable so we agreed. Items were returned on 5/7/14. When we tested the power washer, it seemed fine. We used it the following weekend and it died after doing half of our fence so we called Faust again, they apologized, came back to pick it up -- called a couple of days later and said it seemed like it was faulty when we bought it (we stupidly did not try it out when we purchased it at the end of the season last year). They fixed it and now it seems to be working fine. Lawn mower works fine as well.

Experience with Faust's Repair went exactly as the other reviewers had described: contacted the gentleman, he picked up our non-working lawnmower within the hour (!), he kept it for about a week, and delivered it back to us, good as new. We are very happy and have recommended him to others.

I used another pick-up mower repair service in the area before, but when I called this spring, the name had changed and no one returned my calls (until after Faust's completed my work), and it seems they no longer provide pick-up service now that they've been taken over. I am a 50+ single woman who drives a small sedan - how exactly am I getting a lawnmower someplace for work? Logic says MORE pick-up services are needed, not fewer, but that's just my opinion...
Anyway, thanks to Angie's list, I found Faust Repair. Their price is slightly higher than my previous pick-up service, but they came the same day and when I told them I'd been trying to have the work done for weeks and they saw my lawn, they made sure I had my mower before that weekend! Before Mr. Faust left, he started the mower to show me that it worked, which it does perfectly!
I was VERY impressed. I also gave them a rusty old leaf vacuum to see if they could fix it up and get it working before fall, so I officially have a new pick-up repair company!

A delight to deal with. Free pickup and delivery is ultra convenient. Mom and Dad do the driving and delivery, their son does the actual repair work. Mom and Dad are delightful.
Both pickup and delivery were punctual and fast. As it turns out, my snowblower was not broken, I had simply reinstalled the auger belt incorrectly (I missed a pulley at the bottom of a confined space and the belt had to go this way not that way).
They did not try to sell me on parts or service that were not needed.
I would definitely recommend them.
