We had a pipe burst and large hole in the laundry room. They were very efficient and did an excellent job. Very professional and friendly. Their work was excellent.

For people moving, D2tD is a full service group - they’ll move you, dispose of anything you don’t want and deliver the property in ‘broom swept’ condition. I’m 70 and have accumulated too much stuff, so I had to part with many of my ‘collections’, so needed all of their services - not only for my house but a storage locker as well. Ken, owner (and worker) is quite a character, and a good and decent person who understands ‘pride of workmanship.’ He came to the house well-prepared with two seasoned staff (not two young kids). D2tD worked tirelessly for two days, determined to get the job done correctly and to my satisfaction - good people, hard workers. Invite Ken to look over your job in advance to make recommendations on how to prepare. I hired a mover and got a new friend. Good deal. Good people.

I had a wonderful relationship with this company in the past but my most recent experience was a nightmare. I paid Ken Brown, owner-operator of Dump 2 the Dump, to clear out an uninhabited house in preparation for sale. The process stretched out for months. In the end, the house was certainly cleared out! All of the light fixtures had been stripped away, including the little ceramic rings that held bulbs in closets. Every kitchen cabinet handle and drawer pull was gone. There were holes in the walls where embedded bathroom features (toothbrush holders, soap dishes, toilet paper roller) and an intercom system had been pried out. Even the laundry room sink had been disconnected and taken. Ken has offered numerous contradictory excuses. For example, the light fixtures couldn’t be returned because they had been damaged irreparably during removal or that the light fixtures had been sold in the 1 day since their removal. Supposedly one of his workers had whisked away the sink unbeknownst to Ken. On and on. It was a huge mistake on my part to hire this firm and allow them to work unsupervised. I won’t repeat it.

Beware of these unprofessional contractors. Sadly they were recommended by Home Depot for painting and home services. From the start when we reached out to them very unprofessional, my wife requested a phone call but it was a back and forth with one word answer and when finally got the man Ken on the phone to come give us an estimate on the project. He went on a rampage telling us how God saved his life and he’s a God fearing man and etc just to gain our trust but we always felt something was up with them. Sure enough he went and charged us $100 just to give us ab estimate on the painting project. While at the house the man Ken said “ I thought it was a bigger job and more you won’t be paying more than 5k to partially paint the home “. As we were painting the foyer and 5 rooms in the house. He came to give us an estimation on Wednesday and said he will send us an estimation in the evening 3 days later is when his wife finally send my wife an email and said he will charge us $12,800 to paint a foyer and 5 rooms for a house with 2,450 sqft. Stay away from these people. I attached pictures of conversation just in case you want to reference them. Home Depot should know about these characters.

"In the review, Mr. [Member Name Removed] states that he only had 5 rooms to be painted. He is not being honest about the number of rooms he wanted painted. The work requested was a Foyer with [Member Information Removed] ft. ceiling, family room with [Member Information Removed] ft. ceiling, living room, 2nd floor hallway which had to have wallpaper removed from the ceiling, painting of the dining room, kitchen, parents’ room, middle room, and basement, were all to be painted as well as the exterior to the entry door which is also over [Member Information Removed] ft. After looking at the project. Mr. [Member Name Removed] was told that it would be more than $5,000 that was quoted from just seeing pictures. Mr. [Member Name Removed] said that he only had a budget of $8,000.00 Mr. [Member Name Removed] was told that we could not do the job for that price and that he should get other estimates. This is clearly a case where the customer whom we did NO WORK for, is upset because we were unable to work with his budget. He said Ken went on a rampage talking about God. Ken always tells people how good God is and that it is only God that has sustain him to be in business for over 40 years, so yes, we are God fearing and do talk about God. So, to say “He went on a rampage”, yes! For Mr. [Member Name Removed] to get upset and write a review because he was not able to afford our company and we did NO WORK for him and spread slander about my company via social media is appalling. We have been a 5-star company for years and our review will tell you who we are as a business. I wish we could have helped this young couple from Staten Island while they purchased their home in Hamilton, NJ. I thought we had a good relationship. We share things about our family and his mother being a pastor, but clearly since he did not get his [Member Information Removed], he chose to react with a slanderous and negative review."

Ken and his crew did an excellent job. He gave us the lowest price of the three companies we contacted. We felt quite overwhelmed and thought the job would take much longer than it did. Ken was in constant communication with us, checking up to see if we wanted to keep or get rid of valuable items that turned up during the clean out process. Everyone was professional and very friendly. I'd definitely recommend Ken and his crew to anyone dealing with a challenging clean out project

Extremely well. So well that we highly recommend Dump 2 the Dump. They arrived promptly at the scheduled time, discussed what we wanted done and then proceeded to work steadily until the job was completed to our satisfaction. The crew was very friendly, courteous, and responsive to last minute changes. They did a great job. And their pricing was very reasonable; we found them to have the lowest cost of all the offers we received.

Mr. Jones was punctual, professional and courteous from the first time he arrived at my home to provide a fee estimate to the final day he and his team wrapped up the work. Every aspect of the project as performed on time and professionally and I was very happy with the process and the end product. Excellent service. Ken and his crew were exceptional very tidy and quick with removal of my mother's furniture. In fact Habitat of Humanities didn't except three of the chairs, so I called Ken and 15 minutes later his crew picked up the 3 additional chairs at no extra charge, even though his crew had picked other items earlier in the day.. I recommend him highly,in fact another resident is moving and Ken already has the job with this family. He is a life saver!!!

Services rendered were excellent. Mr. Kenneth arrived on time. Both men were professional, very neat and efficient . Did an excellent job in cleaning up after their services. Even "the boss" concurred! Just thought wrapping fee was a bit high, but overall will continue to support and highly recommend Dump 2 The Dump.

It went great. Ken and his crew were polite, quick, and organized. They made short work of an unpleasant job. They did what they said they would do, at the time they said they would, and for the price that was agreed on. In todays world we have to pay more for less service and less quality- not so with these guys. I highly recommend them.

Ken was prompt to respond to my initial inquiry on Angie's list. He requested the dims and approximate weight of the treadmill (200-250 lbs) and gave me an initial quote. He came to the house the first day I was available and said that the quote would not change after looking the situation over. Ken and Eric picked up the treadmill and took it down 2 short flights of stairs as if it weighed just a few pounds, being extremely careful not to cause any damage to my walls or floors. They then proceeded to collect the heavy cinder blocks and other masonry in my yard with ease. Ken is extremely personable and friendly and a pleasure to deal with, as is Eric. I would recommend without hesitation.

When you have something devastating like mold and water damage in your basement, you want someone to hold your hand. And Ken did. He made sure I was aware of everything that was going on and he guided us every step of the way so it didn't feel overwhelming. You don't expect a company who comes to rebuild your basement to care but they did. Also, I loved how picky and how detail oriented they were with everything. Our floors came in and Ken didn't like the look of some of them so instead of just putting them down in corners, he sent them back and got new ones. He handpicked each board to be laid down so that the color grading and natural lines all flowed together.
They were very respectful of our space, too. I highly recommend them for any job around the house. We are definitely using this company for minor and major fixes going forward. I already recommended them to my friends who just bought a new townhome. They also loved him.

Ken showed up on short notice at the promised time. He quickly quoted a reasonable price for removing a bunch of stuff - old carpets etc. He even offered to donate furniture in good condition to needy children's organization. Very efficient, professional and friendly overall. Would definitely use him again for other services he offers.

Our garage needed a cleaning after 12 years! We scheduled a couple of services for free estimate. We liked the estimate from Ken from Dump 2 the Dump and decided to go with him. Originally he was going to return the next day with help, but decided that he can clean and haul on the same day.
Ken did a very thorough and quick cleaning of all the items we want removed. He did not mind taking a few additional items we found. He was very professional, polite and with a sense of humor.
We learned from him about million other services including handyman services, carpentry and home improvement projects their company is doing. This is very helpful to know since it could be one place to shop in the future for us. As we are an elderly couple, we often need the help of such service for our home.

Ken is very professional in his work and strives for perfection. His attention to details is highly commendable. He offers valuable suggestions through the project and is committed to get the job done in time. He is very helpful and offers to pick up all items (both big and small supplies) needed for the work from the hardware store even though his estimate is only for the labor to do the work at site.
Weather conditions were not conducive while his team were on the job but they used to stay back late to make up for lost time due to snow. They made sure they kept the place clean everyday after finishing their job. Ken is always reachable in his cell phone and takes time to answer all the questions and concerns. I highly recommend him .
