Patrick Raimondo, CWS"
Installation day couldn't have gone better. The water is dramatically improved. The RO system makes everything taste better. In hindsight, it was a no-brainer. Victor and son did a great job.
I would recommend Certified Water Services to everyone. Wonderful family/company to work with.
Had to call company and get it straighten out. Finally sent a refund check.
"Hello (removed member name)- Certified Water Services took full responsibility for the miscommunication between the office and the technician on that day, and we made it right to the best of our abilities in a timely manner. On the day of service, 08/16/13 between 2:30 and 3:30, the annual service on the reverse osmosis system was performed (please confirm the date of service by checking the date on the check you wrote us that day, #1403). The technician out that day was unaware of the conversation that your wife and I had about there being no charge for the refrigerator/ice make connection (typically this connection is done during the initial installation). He therefore charged her for the labor that was involved with the connection. The same day, at 4:21, your wife called and notified me of the error. We promptly mailed the refund check out the following day. Our bank statements show that the check was processed on 8/29/13. (removed member name), what could we have done to better resolve the situation? This issue could have been circumvented if your wife would have simply said to the technician at the time of payment: "The gentleman on the phone said I was not going to be charged for fridge connection." Then the technician would have called me at the office, and I would have confirmed I did indeed say that, and charge would have been removed. Your wife decided to call after she paid and the technician left, therefore we had no other option but to mail you the check. We regret that you felt like you did not get exceptional service that day and urge any and all of our customers to just ask us if and when they do not feel they receive exceptional service, because we will try to make it right. Victor did an excellent job. We look forward to softer water.
nothing will ever break.
We had a new water softener installed by Certified Water Services. I dealt with the owner and all was great on
the front end. The installation went
smoothly. The water felt great. It really made a difference to my wife and
daughter both who suffer with psoriasis.
They even through in a reverse osmosis water purifier. I had the peace of mind knowing I was dealing
with a local family owned business.
Fast forward six months, the plumbing line (which they
installed) for the reverse osmosis system began leaking one day while we were
out. We came home to a ruined sheetrock
basement ceiling. I called Certified
Water Services and spoke with the owner?s son.
He scheduled a visit to come and look at the softener. In the interim, I called our insurance
company who granted us a claim (minus a $500 deductible) to have the ceiling
repaired. While they inspected the
damage, the insurance company noticed what they called ?a bad plumbing job? and informed me that they were going to
go after Certified Water Services insurance company for the deductible. The owner?s son came out a few days later and
fixed the leak. He also explained to me
that we must have done something to jar the line loose. I realized at that point that Certified Water
Systems was not going to take any responsibility for what happened.
Problem solved. All
good, until that is it happened again 4 months later and my ceiling was ruined
a second time. I fixed that on my own
and had the water purifier removed. After
all, it?s the water softener I wanted.
Now, the softener isn?t softening any longer. I called and spoke to Patrick and he
scheduled an appointment to service it.
No one showed up. I called again
and scheduled another appointment. No
show again. Finally I called back today
and was told that we should find another company to service our equipment
because their insurance company advised them not to service our water softener.
Good luck out there to anyone who has to deal with the local
family owned business.
"(member name removed), here is the timeline of what happened: 04/03/2012- CWS installed a water conditioner in basement and a reverse osmosis system under the kitchen sink. Both systems were installed in accordance with the manufacture’s recommendations, local plumbing codes, and were up and running properly at the time of completion. 06/27/2012- CWS received a phone from (member name removed) stating that the reverse osmosis system under the kitchen sink was "leaking." Victor, the owner of CWS, went to the (member name removed) residence at 1:30 pm to correct the problem. He found that the leak was caused by the drain saddle clamp becoming misaligned on the main sink drain pipe. This can only happen if the drain saddle clamp is jarred, bumped, or knocked loose. Like dropping your phone, the drain saddle clamp, if subjected to impact will sometimes loose functionality. Victor explained this to Mrs. (member name removed), fixed the clamp, then made sure the reverse osmosis system was online and working properly. Victor checked and did not observe any water damage under the kitchen sink, and was not informed of any damage in the basement. Mrs. (member name removed) was not charged for this service call. 10/24/2012- CWS received a letter from the law firm representing the (member name removed). The firm was seeking compensation for water damage caused by CWS. Victor informed the firm that he had no idea what they were talking about, and should contact our insurance company. Our insurance company investigated the matter and concluded that it was not the systems that were installed by CWS that caused the damage. Subsequently, our insurance company denied the claim and deems it unsubstantiated. It should also be noted that: - CWS has never had a claim filed against us. - (member name removed) called us on 05/18/2013 and left a voice mail asking us to do a check up on his water softener. - Upon advisement from our insurance company and legal counsel, CWS was advised not to perform any future service at the Lazzaro residence. We informed (member name removed) that we were, unfortunately, not able to continue to do business. - CWS is not sure about the "F" rating on price, it is on par with the other "A" ratings of price. Additionally, nobody forced them to do the work we proposed to them. - CWS has hundreds of happy and satisfied customers, and plenty of positive reviews all over the internet. We strive to meet and exceed our customers' expectation on a continuing basis."
We are finishing our basement and when we had the system installed, had yet to frame it out. When we did, I realized where we had put the system was not the right spot to maximize space. Victor agreed to return and move the system and extend the tubing to put it in a more convenient spot for us - free of charge! I thought that was so incredible, particularly because it was not his fault!
I would highly recommend CWS if you find yourself in the market for a water softener. It is a big difference!!!
After discussing with my husband we decided to have them install the system. They arrived on time (Victor and his son) and the whole job took about 3 hours. The Water softener was installed downstairs and the Reverse Osmosis was installed at the kitchen sink and contected to the frig.
We have been so happy with the results and would rec them to anyone looking for a new water system!
