Construction in today’s world, where finding a reliable contractor or roofer can be a challenge, has truly astounded me. I reached out to about five different roofers for quotes, but it was AV who stood out. His first step was to inspect the attic before even looking at the roof, which was incredibly impressive. While others simply provided quotes based on their assumptions, AV took the time to ensure every detail was addressed. He even noticed something as minor as the bathroom vent not being connected, explaining how it could impact the new roof. His attention to detail, quality of service, and fair pricing are truly commendable in an industry where such standards are rare. Thank you so much for exceeding our expectations!

The work on our roof was to repair the original installer’s mistakes. Worker arrive early and accomplished the work on schedule. Very clean and thorough. I would recommend and use their services again.

Alex responded promptly to my call when I discovered a roof leak and he quickly tarped it over to prevent further damage. He diagnosed the problem, presented solutions and explained the proposed work. I signed a contract, materials were ordered and he returned with his crew in a couple of weeks and re-roofed the leaky section of the roof on a Saturday. He did a thorough, excellent job and cleaned up completely afterwards. Excellent work performed according to contract with no unexpected charges. He even caulked up a potentially leaky window frame that had nothing to do with the roof. He was recommended to me by a friend and I would recommend him to anyone!

I would definitely recommend AV Contracting. They did excellent work on my neighbor’s roof and he was very pleased, so I asked them to estimate mine as well. From the first meeting, Alex was a good listener about what I wanted to have done, investigated all my roof issues and made sound recommendations, followed by a competitive quote. I had 3 roofers estimate my roof replacement and decided to go with AV for the reasons above. He was always responsive, honest, friendly and helpful. The crew showed up on time, was professional and courteous, quiet, and focused on getting the job done quickly and right. I inspected frequently as they were working and I was very satisfied with the quality of the work, materials, and crew. They also cleaned up very well and left no trace that they were ever there. The roof looks great and I have no complaints or issues even after an all day torrential downpour-no problems!

Alex and his crew were fantastic. He came out twice prior to the job to review all aspects of the work and contract with us and show us samples of the material. I had some potential leaks fixed with some shingles being replaced. Alex gave me a fair price as well as an estimate for roof replacement. Very professional and respectful from start to finish. I will definitely have him do my roof in the future.

From start to finish, working with the company was wonderful. Appointments for estimate and review of project were on time. The entire project was discussed with me before hand with details and samples of the products to be used. The work crew arrived on time and were respectful of my property - in fact, my yard was cleaner after they left than when they got there! The estimate was on target. And most important, the roof doesn't leak. I highly recommend working with the company - because you are working directly with the company's owner, a man who clearly knows his business and takes pride in a job well done.

Went well. Arrived at 700am and finished at 630pm. Finished both roofs in the same day. Good clean up. Owner was always available for questions during the day.

His price was fair and we were very happy with his work. I had another roof issue not related to the first and Alex was quick to help again. This contractor showed up first thing in the morning to begin work and provided enough craftsmen to complete the job in one day - just before we were inundated by a nearly 2-inch rain (that would have otherwise found its way into two rooms). Two heavy rain storms later and I'm confident we can begin repainting, etc. The contractor used excellent materials (12 year flat roof warrantee) and provided us with excellent 10 year labor warrantee. Someone from his crew was always picking up and cleaning up and when the job was done there wasn't a single stray piece of debris and I couldn't find any nails even after sweeping with my magnetic broom. The contractor was an excellent communicator and kept me informed of all potential and actual cost overruns (which were both necessary and minimal). Alex, at AV Contracting will be the first guy I call If I ever need similar work to be done, and done right. If you are shopping for an estimate, make sure to call this contractor.

They did a fantastic job. Alex responded quickley to come and give me a free estimate to remove and replace a leaking garage roof. His work crew was polite and removed shingles, tar paper and decking. Once the new roof was installed they did a superior clean up job. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I found AV Contracting through a simple Google search for roofers. After meeting with several contractors, I chose this company after meeting Alex. He was very professional, informative and his price was the most reasonable. His initial inspection gave me and my mom a pretty assessment of the amount of work that would be involved. After several delays due to weather, his crew arrived early and installed an amazing roof. They were professional and efficient, careful to clean up after they were done. We have been fielding numerous inquisitions from our neighbors who did the work. We absolutely love our roof. So glad we chose AV Contracting!!

Staff reached out right away to schedule a free estimate. They took photos of our issue and explained the problem. We ended up going with a whole roof replacement which they completed on short notice.

It went great. Alex was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what is involved in replacing the roof. He detailed the pricing in his estimate and things that should have been installed when the roof was originally built. I would highly recommend this company.

It was a pleasure dealing with Alec and AV Contracting. He immediately came out when I first contacted him to replace the roof on my Shed that was almost thirty years old. His price was competitive and well within my budget. He showed me different samples as well as made recommendations for the type of shingles and capping I should replace the roof with and venting for the roof/shed. Most important, the job/roof when completed what excellent - Meticulously installed with impressive installation. It took him one day to complete the job. Another note, that impressed me was that Alec was friendly and approachable. No matter when I called or text him, he was happy to assist me or answer any questions. When I replace the roof in my house, I will not bother contacting any one else- Alec and AV Contracting have my business in the future.
