He rushed through the work, and the result was poor.
Doors were not installed correctly. Doors were cut crooked/chipped.
Rough-cut furring strips were used as ceiling corner molding.
Hughes yelled at me when I told him the old window stops should be left in place for vinyl replacement windows.
Some boards were not attached were they should be.
More problems which I don't have time to list right now.

At the end of May he came by to see what I needed done and to prepare an estimate. A day or so later he came with the contract and requested 75 percent down. He received downpayment of 850.00  (contract states I will owe him 180.00 at completion). I did not hear from him for over a week so I had to call him. He came a few days later and removed a/c unit, patched wall inside and out. He built gate for back deck and replaced steps. Instead of replacing faucet he put some type of fitting on it which caused a leak. Had to have neighbor remove this fitting and apply plumbers tape to it. I eventually hired a plumber to install new outside faucet.  He never returned to sand down inside wall or replace siding on exterior wall. The sheeting has been exposed to the elements for a month and half. Finally asked neighbor to cover the area with plastic. He never put shutters on home. He will not return my phone calls or respond to my emails. Has not responded to a certified letter.
Do not hire this man.
