It went well.  Had a problem contacting him.  But after I made contact, he was very professional.  Worked within my schedule. Moved the furniture and put it back (included in price.) He's very efficient and that is probably why he doesn't readily anser cellphone.

David does a superb job. We just wish he'd figure out how to work the voice mailbox on his cell phone!

Tallman Waxing uses an answering machine as initial contact (which does not bother me at all) and is good at returning phone calls. So, after making contact with us, the owner and his helper came over, sanded a section of our floor (where I indicated), and applied taped out stain samples to the floor that were large enough for us to get a good idea of what they would actually look like. We wanted more samples to choose from, so he came back right away, and within a few days, we were able to make a clear decision.

We were away while the guys worked at our house; and there were a few things that really impressed me:

• The house was just as we left it. No tracked in mud and no trash either in the house or in our garbage cans.
• Tallman Waxing recently bought the latest in sanding equipment, which means that 95% or more of the dust was immediately vacuumed up. I found a little bit of dust on some books that were nearby the work area, but that's it.
• The workers went above and beyond what was required of them, pulling carpet staples and tacking strips they didn't have to.
• The owner gave me his personal cell phone number and was always patient and available (when there was cell service).

My wife and I are very pleased with our "new" floors and have already told Tallman that we want them for a future project.
