Superior Plus Energy Services - Montoursville

These people are out to rob you. I called in and set up my account. Got my delivery. Then when I went to pay my bill they said it was 100.00 more than what my receipt said!! They said it was an honest mistake made by the driver and they were not going to fix it. I had to fight with them explaining I never got a phone call or another invoice stating the driver made an error. Then proceeded to tell me I was locked in at 2.699. (Long story short, I got the pricing that was on my ONLY receipt/invoice) I get my second delivery and it was 2.899! I call them about it and they said that was the price I had to pay, out when talking to them on the phone they never said the price was supposedly changed. Then they told me they would change it to the price they told me I was locked in at and to never call them again (which I was going to anyways)! The manager Dave Pennypacker (excuse my French) is an ******* and should be fired!!!! I wish I knew who his boss was so I could call him and tell Him how bad Dave is making the business look!! I work with a lot of businesses/customers that use this company and I will make sure I put their name in the dirt!!!! Robbery!

Heating oil was delivered on time,but was a bit pricey. The AC inspection cost $125 and they never found a loose wire that had broken off, which means they never even took it apart to inspect it. This was confirmed by the house owner's nephew, who services and installs HVAC systems in another city. He fixed it in 10 minutes, one month AFTER it had supposedly been inspected by Superior. He could tell that they had never opened it up.

It went well.  The gentleman who performed the review was very thorough and very helpful.  However, due to the cost we did not award the contract to Superior.  They were about $1800 high.
However, with regard to our experience with Superior, they have been our oil supplier for years.  They also have provided annual maintenance and service for the same amount of years (about 40) and we have had no complaints whatsoever.  They were previously known as Montour Oil Service Co.

They were very rude on the telephone. The operators were condescending; didn't speak well. Worst phone operators I ever encountered.

Old furnace spewing soot on Fri., service person came in 3040 mins.; said it would have to be replaced and shut it down for safety reasons.  Someone else came Sat. morning to order a new one, and new one installed on Mon.  We were impressed with how quickly they got us heat again.  And they loaned us some biggish electric heaters to get us through the weekend.
