I had used Solar Control on previous occasions and have always been extremely satisfied with their work. When I purchased a new vehicle I immediately called Toby. A message was left with his answering service and he promptly returned my call. He was able to fit me in the following week. When the day of my appointment came, I waited in the lobby while Toby applied the tint. It only took approximately 45 minutes to tint all five of the windows on a crew cab truck. As always, the service was great, the work performed exceeded expectations and the price was very reasonable. I always recommend Solar Control to anyone interested in window tint and I will certainly use them again in a few a months.

Solar Control installed tinted window film for us 10/22/10. He was very difficult to pin down for appointments but he did the job. This year we damaged the film on one of the window panes. We called Solar to come and replace the film. We expected to pay for the work and he made at least three appointments with us but never showed up, nor did he call. After many attempts to reach him (through his answering service) we gave up, went to Angie's List and found another window tinting company and were very pleased with their service. If Solar Control does not want to replace tinted window film, then why make an appointment and never keep it? I would never recommend this company to anyone. They are too frustrating to work with.

I waited a very minimal amount of time, the service was expertly performed! I waited approx. two hours for completion of my car after he finished another one.

We called Toby from Solar Control Window Tinting of Pittsburgh, and left a message with his answering service. (we were referred to him by a bunch of people). He called us back rather quickly. We needed a car tinted and had a question about some tint for our house. He gave us a great price on our car. We came in the next day and waited in his waiting room. (WI-FI) I didnt believe him when he told us it would be less than 1 hour for an entire vehicle. It took about 40 minutes. The job initially had some bubbles in it, but the went away in less than 2 days. He told us it was just water, and it must have been. The job looks great. We then had him give us an estimate on our house and he installed some mirror tint for privacy as well as a few blinds for our porch. I would Highly recommend Toby for window tinting and blinds.

Overall, the job went well, once, Toby came to the house. He is a guy of many excuses... I was stood up once -postponed once and promised a problem with his work would be taken care of and it never has been. I am still waiting after several calls and e-mails by me, and promises of I will- I will for Toby who at this point I have given up on.
