I called on 11/8 at 2:50 p.m. and spoke with a gentleman. He did not identify himself by name so I can't confirm who it was. I explained that I found the listing on Angie's List and I wanted the leaves in my back yard cleaned up and the gutters cleaned.
I'm not sure if there was a bad connection or the gentleman on the other end was hard of hearing but I had to repeat my address 3 times because he kept getting it wrong and I had to repeat my phone number as well because he kept getting that wrong.
He said he would stop by my property the next day (which would have been Monday) and look at the amount of leaves. He said he would leave me a quote for the job and I could get back to him if I wanted him to do the job.
Well, it has been a week and I have not received any quote left in the mail slot.
I don't know if he stopped by and felt there were too many leaves - it would have been OK to let me know that he didn't want the job.
Our heater stopped working--apparently leaves from the fall clean up were blown into our heating system by these guys. It could have started a serious fire. The heating repair person said he had never seen a pile of leaves in the same spot. They were blown into our heating system from the outside.
Additionally, they used a weed whacker on all of my hydrangeas. Needless to say, a lawn care company should know that is not a good idea. I won't have any blooms this year, at least I only lost 1-3 plants.
NEVER AGAIN!
