It looks beautiful! Murray was so easy to work with and very responsive any time we contacted him. The crew that he sent were always on time and so efficient! Very hard workers, polite, and left our job site clean. We will be using Mifflin Construction in the future.

Mifflin Construction repaired/replaced siding on two occasions following storm damage. The first was over 8 years ago. Their work is solid and we'd use them again.

After several bids to put new siding on my house I decided to go with Mifflin Construction for several reasons. They are a family run business with 45 years experience in exterior projects and they not only worked with me within my budget but offered new gutters along with the siding and shutters that even one of their competitors said was a great deal. Their customer service from the owner Murray and all of his crew were professional, courteous and clean. I have never seen crews of five men work so hard, they were on the job 10+ hrs a day providing quality materials and workmanship and really went above and beyond in taking care of details that make my 110 year old house look like new and kept the work site clean. Several of my neighbors watched the work in progress and were not only amazed at the results and the excellent workmanship of the crew, they asked for referrals to contact Mifflin for work they or their families and friends want done. I was so impressed that I asked the owner to contact me next year to put on a new roof. To my surprise Murray was able to negotiate unbelievable zero percent financing for a year and completed the new roof with a crew of six men in one day. I wholeheartedly would hire again without hesitation and I highly recommend Mifflin Construction as the best you can get from start to finish for any exterior projects.

Murray’s crew did a wonderful job in a very reasonable time frame at a very competitive cost. We had new Alside premium board and batten vinyl siding with soffit, gutter, and downspouts installed. The crew worked quietly and diligently, took care of any changes I requested, and cleaned up after the job was completed. Everything looks fantastic and my wife, daughter and I are very happy with the new look of our home! Thank you Murray and Mifflin Construction!

The Mifflin Construction Co, was wonderful. Murray Samuels, the owner, came out to give me a bid. He was very professional and knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable and trusting, I was away when the installation took place (had a neighbor checking on things daily) and came home to a "new" house! They removed the old siding and replaced in 3 days. My neighbor was impressed with how hard and quickly they worked even in the July heat. There was no loud talking or shouting our music as they worked. I bought new "flood" lights and they replaced those also. I was very happy with the outcome. I would highly recommend Mifflin Construction!

I felt the workers were very professional and wasted no time, when the weather cooperated, to complete my siding beautifully. They were respectful and on time each day. My yard was totally cleaned up on completion of the job. I would recommend Mifflin Construction to anyone who wants to have a job well done.

Not well. We waited 2 months for these services because we wanted quality work and they got good reviews here. I told Nick we weren't looking for a low bidder we wanted these issues fixed right. He assured me they would do a good job. Every time after they leave I have to tell Nick what is wrong and he talks in circles and it doesn't get fixed. One of the windows still has the old frame and it shows. The gutter tips down the wrong way from the drains. There is still a gap along the front corner between the siding and the roof. Even after that was "fixed". The ends where the siding and the roof attaches to the main part of the house are a terrible mess of caulk. Nick said they would put a 6-8" overhang. It barely covers the siding. They did not replace all the bad wood. Anywhere. The roof had holes and damaged rafters that were just covered over with osb. They put 3" strips of osb in the place of the damaged beams. I should have been told about that so it could have been addressed at the time. They left a large hole in the closet below the roof edge. This is somewhat covered by the new gutter. Nick told me I could hire someone to put boards on the inside if I didn't want to see daylight. In my closet. The roofing supervisor and the siding team have been out to make some minor repairs and it is still the same. They left nails and screws laying all over both driveways and the street. I pick up more almost every time I go outside. I doubt my neighbors appreciated the boom box on the roof. And of course the smoker in the driveway by the door dropping cig butt. I have sent Nick emails and pics every step of the way. I have a lot of pictures.

Murray and his crews were fantastic! Very communicative, fast, clean, and professional. The price was right in the middle of the estimates I was getting, but the quality blew the other guys out of the water. Looking forward to talking to them again when our next big project comes up!

Vinyl siding installation over wood siding looks great and has weathered well, being completed in December, 2017. Pleased enough to hire again, which tells it all. I thought I had written a review until I went to call for a repair caused by a downed power line and saw I forgot to leave a review.

I would definitely hire again! Murray and his guys were a pleasure to deal with. They were professional, arrived on time, worked late, and took care of dumpster delivery and removal. They even came back to install the new spot lights that were delivered a day after the job was done. They also do roofing, windows and doors, which we will definitely use them again in the future for any of these needs.

Roofing: fantastic service - it was a partial replacement, and they were able to finish the work in one day. They even took care of the dumpster permit/delivery for us (which, if you've ever had work done in Pgh city limits, you know is a pain). Siding: again, GREAT job. This took a little longer, but it was entirely weather-related, and they kept in touch with us on a regular basis, returned calls promptly, etc. The siding looks great. A window frame got knocked out of alignment during the work (it's an older home, not entirely unexpected), and they came back right away to fix it (to be honest, it looks better than it did before they got there). Very professional/easy to work with. Will gladly hire them again for any other work they can do.

Would absolutely recommend and hire again. The construction was well organized. Guys arrived on time. Worked late. Even came on a Saturday because rain held project up. Hard workers. And honest

I was very pleased with the work that was done at my house. I knew that my job was on "the list" of jobs to be done. My original time estimate was three months but because of RAIN and more RAIN my job was not done for about five months. I was not in a hurry for my work to be done as it was not an emergency and I told Nick Samuels this. The work was done in one day and the crew was efficient and one could tell that they have worked together for a long time. I did send Nick an email with my positive feedback on the job and his crew.

Work was done as planned and on time. Murray and the installers did what they said they would do and the both the door and siding work turned out beautiful. Both the siding and the door installers were professional (including clean up), easy to talk to and experts at what they do. I would not hesitate to hire Mifflin Construction in the future. An excellent experience!

Mifflin did an incredible job on our new siding, soffit and facia. They worked fast and delivered really high quality work. Murray was very responsive to my questions and was a pleasure to work with. My brother who is a contractor saw the progress and was really positive about how the crew worked. When we had a concern about one part of the job that was not done exactly right Murray and his crew addressed it immediately. I would hire Mifflin for other jobs without hesitation. An old school company that really cares about their work.

This was one of the easiest contracting jobs I've ever been through. Mr. Samuels was prompt, answered all my questions, and met all my expectations. I had glass block windows put in my basement, siding, soffit , fascia, and porch roof repaired. They did a beautiful job. I've had issues with others that hire subcontractors. Mr. Samuels assured me that all work would be done to my satisfaction and it was. The work was done within the time frame promised. My neighbors even asked for his name because they liked the work and stated that the crew that was there really worked and were quite nice. I'm actually thinking of other work that I can have done and Mr. Samuels will be my first call.

This one of the best companies I have worked with since relocating to Pittsburgh. Mr. Murray was extremely professional. he sat at our table and said here's the price, no other company is going to beat it and he was right. He was much cheaper than the other 6 companies I had quotes from. They were on time, clean and respectful to my wife. When they were almost done with the job I had noticed an issue with one piece of siding, they said no problem and took everything off to remove that piece and make it right. Hire this company with confidence!

Roofing was finished in a timely manner. Murray was professional to work with.

Murray (owner) was very accessible. I got a visit and quote in no time. The siding and facia that was on the front of my home needed attention. I had them replaced it and also put new soffit and facia on the porch ceiling. They came when they said they would and did everything I asked them to do. Carlos and his partner were courteous and talented. Murray called after the completion and made sure that everything was done to my satisfaction. The job was done efficiently and with attention to detail. The house looks great and I couldn't be happier.

We were very pleased with the siding project at our house. Nick Samuels from Mifflin was very easy to work with, he came to the house and was able to answer all of our questions and also make recommendations that helped in our decision making. The folks that came out to install the siding were very efficient, finishing the job in less than a week. It looks great. They cleaned up each day, and returned to address some minor requests that we had. I would definitely use Mifflin Construction for any future projects
