LEVIN FURNITURE- Monroeville

This review is for the Levin Furniture on Route 19 in Washington County, PA.  We recently bought and returned furniture at another store and were so displeased.  Then went to Levin during their JUly 4 sale - great prices, and especially great service.  The salesperson who we had was so helpful, polite, and answered all our questions and spent a great deal of time with us.  The manager of the store was also nice, helping us as well regarding measurements, etc., and personally thanked us for our business.  Delivery was right on time and the delivery people were so careful with the new furniture and so polite.  I would definitely recommend this store for their service and prices and,  we will definitely shop there in the future.

Levin furniture is very good at making the sale but not so good at delivering. We ordered our furniture around 12/01/2013. The expected arrival date was 12/31/2013. Today it is 03/10/2014 and the furniture has still not arrived. They initially moved the date to mid February, then to end of february, and now we do not know when the furniture is arriving. Every time we call them they say it got delayed in shipping. When we ask the sales person what is the reason for delay, she says, I don't really know. The computer tells me its delayed. One time they told us that it is on the ship and set to arrive at the port on Feb 14th and will be in our house around Feb. 28th. But of course it never came. They don't really know what happened to that ship. May be it sank. So I talked to the sales manager at the store, she said she will call me in 2 days and give us an exact date by talking to someone higher up. That was 10 days ago. I still have not heard from her.
After waiting for 3 and half months, we don't really want to cancel the order and start all over again. So we are going to wait to receive the furniture. But we are definitely sure not to go back to Levin Furniture again. And by the way, all the payment was made upfront.

Shopped around for dining room sets, didn't feel pressured at all. Salespeople were knowledgeable and set was delivered on time. Financing allowed me to pay over a year!

After purchasing the mattress in the store, the delivery was within the promised time frame. The delivery men set up the new mattress and boxspring and took away the old as promised.

The furniture was delivered as promised. However, the different sections of the table were not even with one another. They sent out a tech and we got a second table. The third table was still not satisfactory. We decided to keep the chair but get a different table. hey were very nice about it, and didn't even charge us the additional $50 for the more expensive table.
