Auto Sales
We stopped in because we saw a truck on the lot that was perfect at first glance for towing our camper, the sales person Nate P was the first to greet us and called us to his booth, he began telling us about the company and went through his flash cards showing what they did, We expressed interest in a Chevy Suburban! he at this time told me the Year of the truck, then he ask us some questions and said it was a tier 4 vehicle that required $2000.00 down Payment! but while sitting there with my legally blind partner (He knew this her ADA dog with us) he asked us to sign and verify info on our applications but when my partner asked me to read over her info Nate snatched the forms from both of us!!! then set us up to talk to their Finance Department CNAC AKA J.D. Byrider , We spoke with Kathy J she ran our credit and supposedly did the math to see what we can afford, this is were the dark side of this company started to show!!! Kathy could not/would not talk about APR or terms and avoided the question, then we were told we had to fax or Email proof of income ASAP!
So back to the waiting room to wait for Nate, our dog needed to go for a walk so I went out and looked at the truck closer the outside looked like new but the front seats were destroyed and inspecting the hitch I found the rear body mounts were just about rotted away also the Powder coat was just about gone on the hitch!!!! were did the $2000.00 in restoration go to on this truck They say they put into it??? When I went back in I asked Nate what the year and mileage was because there was a lot of wear to the interior and under side! he said he did not know seems he forgot he knew the year when we arrived! we did not leave with a truck that day he said he would talk to his manager the next day about working on the $2000.00 down payment.
We called the next day and he was not schedule to work? I asked them if they were a franchise or corporate owned and they said corporate! this was another lie!! there website says franchise on the bottom, Nate Called today to tell us he had 2 Vehicles that met out needs come in today 1 was a newer version of what we already owned? the other was a Dodge Ram, I said I was interested and asked for the Vin# to give to my insurance company but in the end he said he was not allowed over the phone? how can I find out if I can afford it if I don't know what the insurance would cost?
To sum things up they prey on people who are desperate for a car if you miss a payment by 1 day you loose you're car! and all the money they took from you!
You do not know what it's going to cost until after you are locked in!!! I would be very careful with this company, I called the Corporate HQ to file a complaint and did verify they were privately owned, also in several states there are Government Actions against some of the Franchises. This can all be verified Via Internet search!!!!
We are now concerned about all the Private info they have about us! We did request Corporate to the have them destroy it but what was in the fine print is unknown we did fall! for the sign then verify trick!
The list of lies and deception we experienced are so long I can't list them if I was a desperate person looking for a car they may have gotten me! but since we were just looking for a second vehicle I was not that excited and was calm so I was able to read between the lines and questioned everything that was questionable
If you have bad credit and can wait your better off putting money in a savings account!
