Technicians arrived on schedule in spite of bad weather conditions. Applied cloth boots over their shoes to ensure no snow was tracked inside my home. They were very friendly and professional. Installation took less than an hour and my Intrtnet speed is unbelievable. I highly recommend the Geek Squad and the Netgear wireless router,

Felix came within the stated 4 hour window. He assessed the site, brought in the tv and set to work. When he was finished, he instructed me on the use of all related devices. His explanations were clear and he was patient when I ask him questions. When he was done he removed all the packaging. Felix was very professional and polite.

A power surge caused by lightning fried cable box and damaged two TVs, internet modem and router. Cable co. replaced cable box and router and felt the damage to big screen TV was fatal . Steve from Geek Squad examined TV and felt one or two parts would fix it. He ordered both parts. When they came in, he returned and installed the first part which corrected the problem so he didn't need the second part which he said he could send back. What we thought was going to be a very expensive situation cost us about $450.00 which included a new 24" TV.

We buy our electronics at Best Buy because of the Geek Squad.

I had many problems with the TV, I think it was a lemon but they came every time it needed repaired. I had it for over 8 years and it had to have many repairs but they always did it. My experience was fine because they did what they had to do and I didn't have to pay except for the price of the warranty. I didn't like that I had to have them come out so many times but that probably wasn't their fault it was the TV. It was a JVC TV and they just sold it, they didn't make it. They honored the warranty. We bought our next new TV through them. Even though it was stressful and all, it wasn't their fault that there were so many repairs. We had to wait, by the time they got the parts and put us on the schedule it was some time.

The TV seemed like a good deal. So far it has been a good experience working with Best Buy. They price match, which is great. I had an issue with scheduling; the first appointment had to be canceled because I didn't have the right equipment, which I was misinformed about. It was hard to then schedule another appointment. The manager was very helpful and made up for the mistake by giving me some discounts for the TV, so I have no complaints and I am very satisfied. Their technicians were very helpful and knowledgeable. They were easy to work with. Chuck is the sales rep who finally helped pull everything together; he was great.

They delivered the appliances on on time the delivery driver had scratched the fridge, and they fixed it. They leveled the fridge and made sure everything was perfect before they left. They were polite and we were pleased over all with the experience.

I TOOK IT TO THEM ON SUNDAY, JUNE 12TH. THEY SAID THEY WOULD HAVE IT DONE WITHIN 48 HOURS. THEY CALLED ME IN THE AFTERNOON TUESDAY TO GET AUTHORIZATION FOR THE REPAIR. THEY SAID IT WOULD BE ANOTHER 2-3 DAYS TO GET IT DONE. I TOLD HIM THAT WAS UNACCEPTABLE BECAUSE THEY SAID IT WOULD BE DONE TUESDAY. THE TECH SAID HE WOULD TRY AND GET IT DONE BY TODAY, WEDNESDAY, SO I TOOK THE RESTORE DISKS DOWN TO HIM. NOW IT IS WEDNESDAY, I'VE CALLED UP THERE AND CAN'T EVEN GET THROUGH TO ANYONE. I SIT ON HOLD INDEFINITELY AND THEN IF IT TRY TO GET TO AN OPERATOR, IT HANGS UP ON ME. IT IS VERY FRUSTRATING AND I WILL NOT USE BEST BUY AGAIN. I DON'T FEEL THEY HANDLE THEIR CUSTOMERS VERY WELL.
