Firestone Complete Auto Care Store

I had called around to different places to see how much it would cost to get my car inspection done. Most of the places were around $80. Firestone was only $30. The guy who answered the phone was very friendly, and I set up an appointment. I had it in my mind that I was going to the location behind the mall, but that doesn't exist anymore. Seems like most of the maps online are not updated, so make sure you realize the location is on William Penn Hwy. I arrived about 15 minutes late because of the confusion, but they still honored my appointment. The waiting area was in the main office/register place. They had set up some chairs around a low table on a nice area rug. The table had a great variety of magazines and what looked like game booklets for kids. They had a TV and a coffee maker right there, and a single person bathroom for all customers. No WiFi. I had originally been told it would take 60-90 minutes, but it wound up being a little bit longer (2hrs), but that seemed fair because I was late. The staff was cordial and even the other customers gave it a very "local mom and pop" kind of feel. They were pretty busy that day with a lot of walk-in customers, so I'm glad I had an appointment. The place seemed very clean, especially for an automotive store. Only slight complaint was that it really smelled like tires, since the had racks of new ones on display, but I feel silly even mentioning it. The total cost was exactly as estimated, so it was a pleasant change to not get stuck with all these "suddenly discovered" issues with my car, as seems to be a common practice in Pennsylvania. I would highly recommend store #18376 for auto inspections!

My family, friends and I all use this location for repair. They will suggest additional repairs or services, you just have to be a good consumer. They are not a patch it, and make it limp until next year shop, they are professional and do good work. Though they often take longer than promised, the waiting room is clean and comfy compared to most other repair shops. I got both sets of tires for my car from them. I love my snow tires but I went to low end for my regular (not their suggestion btw) and will upgrade when needed. The snow tires are fabulous! Their tires have lasted much longer than any other tires I have purchased in the last twenty years. I am sold on their tires.

I think that they provide good service. They are very informative. The facility is up to date.

They are located by the mall so I was able to shop while I waited. The only problem was they didn't have my car ready when they said they were going to. They were friendly but I just didn't like having to wait longer than they said I would.

Called in advance of visit and was quoted 14.95 for oil change and "no longer than 1 hour." When I arrived the service advisor told me that due to the high mileage on my vehicle (less than 80,000 miles) he recommended "high mileage" or synthetic oil. I told him I wanted regular oil. The invoice/authorization to do the work listed out individual costs for the requested service. The labor, oil disposal,and filter were additional costs. I authorized the service and provided my contact information, telling them that I would be waiting for the car. A full hour and 10 minutes after I dropped the car did I get a call saying it was ready. When I arrived there was no service representative at the desk. When he did arrive, he answered a call without saying that he'd be right with me. The checkout time was entirely too long. I was not thanked for my patronage.
