I've used them for at least ten years. I've bought cars there and have my car serviced there. Cochran has some kind of deal, I think, that if you buy the car there, they don't charge you for the state inspection. They do charge you for the emissions testing. They're extremely competitive. Based on my past experience with them, when I needed my car serviced, they are simply outstanding, as far as I'm concerned. The last three cars that I bought there were Hyundais. My experience is with the Hyundai office. I've bought other makes in the past.Whatever I've said about the Hyundai service also applies to my experience with the other makes, which include Cadillacs.

It took approximately one and one half hours of waiting in their lobby area. I was disappointed that we did not receive a free car wash that had been promised when we purchased the car. We were told every time we brought the car in for service, our car would be washed for free.

I was extremely impressed with the Quality Standards that the Collision service maintained The Manager assigned to my repair work was very friendly and sensitive to having my car repaired. The work to be completed was explained to me and documented for insurance purposes. The work started on the next day and was completed in four days. The price was very competitive in comparison to other providers. The manager was able to get me a new bumper system within the estimated cost. The end result was a excellent job well done. The car was cleaned in and detailed on the outside. My car never looked so good and many people asked me if i wanted to sell this car.

I keep going over there because they do a good inspection. There's nothing I dislike so far. You bring your car there and they'll ask you if you want to get it later or you want it to stay then they give you a time. They don't take all day messing around with you. They'll tell you what you need and how long it's going to take if you need anything.

I appeared on time for my appointment, scheduled online. As has been typical of my service appointments with other cars, the process always appears to take longer than I would expect. There seemed to be some lag between determining the tire had to be replaced and finding out if they actually had that tire make. And the service coordinator forgot to ask about the luggage crossbars, which I had to remind her of when she called me to check out. Again, there was additional delay. The mechanic who brought the car out was very good about explaining how to remove or move these bars. While I had no complaints about any part of the repairs or work quality, the timeliness of service leaves much to be desired.

They pretty much sell everything. Between ourselves and two kids we've bought six cars from them. Their service is always good. You usually have to make appointments, but it's not a long wait or anything like that. They're definitely very professional. They'll write everything out for you so you know exactly what they did and exactly needs to be done.

My car broke down and isn't driveable. I originally bought the car from them. The check engine light started flashing. They towed it to their dealership last Thursday and they still have it. They are telling me it just happened and it wasn't something that should have been fixed during their checking of the car before selling it to me. They called today after I called them several times. They guy didn't tell me anything about ordering a part or what they were going to do to fix the car. I am getting the run-around from them.

The reason we have stayed with Ken is that he and the dealership has taken good care of our car, reminding us of needed service, advising when things can wait and standing behind any service that is performed. This service was typical in that the job was done right and on time. A loaner was provided which in my job is necessary. The service technician made a point to go over the details of the service. The Subaru is not inexpensive in service but we believe that the fees are reasonable. Sometimes there are glitches and this time we had asked for certain bulbs in the dash to be replaced (they had burned out) and an email was sent prior to the service so that the parts could be ordered. It turned out that the bulbs were not there at the time of the service and it will have to be done the next service interval. I would suggest to Cochran that in there effort to communcate service issues that they look at how many ways you are contacted (email, text messages to multiple phones). I mentioned this to Ken and he promised to look into it.

On Friday, October 12, I took my 2006 Saturn VUE to your service department for front end noise/rattle. After a couple of hours, I was told that nothing was found so I was "only charged for an alignment". The mechanic only heard the rattle once. I replied back to the service manager that the rattle was pronounced and requested we go for a test drive with the mechanic. I was confident that the rattle would be present. The service manager resisted this request. I had my struts replaced recently by Goodyear and the service manager told me that the noise/rattle was probably due to the strut mounts.

I immediately drove 20+ plus miles to Goodyear. I requested a test drive, which they did. They heard a pronounced rattle. The problem was the steering wheel alignment shaft, a known Saturn problem. They repaired my car after obtaining the part from Cochran.

Saw a vehicle on the internet at Cochran Subaru. Confirmed with the internet people that the "look" of the vehicle was the same as in the picture. We got a confirmation that the design was the same as the picture. We drove there on July 26, with a copy of the email, and spoke with a salesman who referred us to Jeff Gessler, the Sales Manager. Jeff advised us that is was not the correct vehicle in the picture and that there is a difference in "look" and "design". Since we drove over 30 miles and paid a toll on the interstate we looked at the Subaru Impreza 2.5i Premium, 5 door. The car was nice but not what we went there for. We had them check out our trade-in, a 2002 Ford Mustang, which the Kelly Blue Book said was worth $6000 as a trade in fair condition. The Mustang had only 70,000 miles on it. They (Cochran) were only going to give us half of what it was worth in trade-in. We walked out...feeling not too happy with the entire transaction. Jeff met us in the parking lot as we were pulling out and advised us that he would check on the value of the Mustang and call us back....it is now August 14th and we have not received a phone call. We did go to Hamilton Subaru in Irwin and got a good deal and now are the happy, satisfied owners of a Subaru.

Rarely do you give a car repair service excellent marks, but the Ed Hickman, is an excellent service professional. I took the truck there to have a leaking problem looked at and they said the windshield was not attached properly. When I asked what the charge was, he said "Nothing, don't worry about it." I did not purchase the truck from them so it was not an error they made and was correcting.

The salesman (Brett Lewis) was great - very friendly and wanting to please us. We installed our toddler's car seat in the car and took it for a test drive. Everything went smoothly. When we returned from the test drive we immediately sat down to negotiate the deal. Brett's initial offer was a little less than we were expecting to pay and we agreed to it with no further negotiations. He said he would get the car cleaned for us and have the financing guy get all of the paperwork ready. By that time, the dealership was empty - I think there was maybe one other customer in the show room. We had our 2-year-old son with us and he was missing his nap so we were hopeful that things would move quickly. However, we waited an hour and a half for the financing guy. Our son was cranky and the financing guy tried to sell us stuff we didn't need. We were desperate to sign the paperwork and get out of there. When the financing guy presented us with the contract, of course there were a bunch of extra fees that we should have tried to get out of paying, but we didn't want to deal with it. I can't help but wonder if they dragged things out with us because they knew we'd get to the point where we'd sign anything to get out of there with our toddler. Once we got the car we were happy with it. Brett wanted to give us a 'tour' of the car but we were anxious to leave so we cut it short and said we'd call if we had any questions.

I am really impressed with them both in terms of the new car purchase and the service. They informed us of the rates that we would be able to get on the new car that none of the other Subaru dealerships that we visited told us about. We were able to save a lot of money based on that. We weren’t aware that we could get that price and they were the only dealership who revealed that to us. Since then we have had some regular maintenance and some service done on the new car because our air conditioner failed. Both the people who did the service and the people that we interfaced with over the phone were very professional, helpful and made the whole experience very easy. I would continue to use them in future.
