I asked them and they gave me a rough idea. We concluded that the estimated price was about 50% of a new one. It was old and we decided not to repair.

This is an independent guy. This was someone I really liked. He did not overcharge. He told us the nature of our repairs would have run more than what it was worth. He suggested we buy a new one and not from him. He was not selling appliances. We followed his advise and bought a new dishwasher.
