Yesterday, we had the misfortune of ordering pizza from D & G Famous
Pizza on Old Brodhead Road in Monaca.
We had company and wanted pizza.
I was talked into trying D & G's. BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!
The guys went and got the pizza. Paid and left. About a mile from home (we live about 9 miles from there) they noticed that the order was incomplete. They drove all the way back and was greeted
with - "We were hoping you'd come back." No apology no offer to remake what was now a semi-warm pizza at best.
At any rate, the pizza was brought home - stone cold after having made a 27 mile trip.
Microwaving it to heat it made the crust soggy and I ended throwing what was left on plates in the garbage disposal because only 2 guys actually ate it. The remainder I threw in the garbage. After our company left, I called D & G to tell them I was dissatisfied and was dealt with by possibly the rudest person I have ever encountered.
Her solution was to give her my address and they would come retrieve the pizza from my garbage
and issue a refund. Otherwise I should just be satisfied. It was not that big a deal.
She made it sound as if they did me a favor making us pizza in the first place!
After the inconvenience, nothing to eat at now 9 PM, and the total disregard for customers - $28.72 for pizza that was thrown out was indeed that big a deal.
