My neighbor recommended him and had sent him down to my house. He is a local guy and came in to give me an estimate. His price was fair and I gave him half the money down but he never showed up to do the job. As I had been taken for money and I went upto the street where he was working and demanded for the money back. My husband is a police officer, also spoke to him for the first time and I thought I had got somewhere with him but obviously that didn’t happen, and so far he hasn’t given me my money back. In the last try, for the following couple of days I spoke to him to do the job but he still never showed up. Then he actually text me and asked for more money and that was a shock for me. That's when I asked him to come over to speak to me, and give me my money back as I wanted to cancel the work. He kept apologizing and promising that he would turn up for the work in the morning but later he called up saying that he can’t come for work. I trusted him only because he has been working on my neighbor’s house. Until now he has done only half of the outside work. He has told me so many lies and is not an honest man to me, and can’t be trusted. I’m not going to use him anymore.
