We are new to the area and had trouble finding a reliable, knowledgable plumber.  Jim came to the rescue!  We needed a whole house filter system to take care of acidic water and the work he did was fantastic.  He's also replaced our sewer ejector pump, water heater, pressure gage on our well pump and fix leak coming from tub.  All the work he did was excellent and he knows what he's talking about.  He's a busy guy (which is a good sign!) so he's sometimes hard to get in touch with, but he's our go to plumber and would recommend him for any plumbing needs.

Boasts 24-hour emergency service. Did not even return my phone call. Fail.

After having someone else attempt to fix the slow drip in our bathtub and make it worse, a neighbor recommended I call Rich Service as they had seen his truck at other homes in the neighborhood.  I placed a call and Jim called me back in a very timely manner and we discussed the situation and we set up a time for the next day.   Jim assessed the situation and fixed the problem.  It took a little time to remove the springs and plug as they had over time become jammed inside but without damaging anything else, was able to remove the parts and put in the new ones.    Will definitely keep Rich Service on our quick dial for any other plumbing issues we may have for sure.

From what I can see, it was cleaned well.

They did an excellent job, came in, and did the job got out. Actually, I tried to take it fixed what was wrong and I believe more than mess, tried to fix it, but he did. I am happy with everyone from Angie's List. He came in and we talked about what was wrong. He will do it about how much it would cost, came in, and did what he said what he was going to do. He told the parts but within the price was waiting for me. He cleared that and the suggestions are hard to keep it clear. And I paid him and he left. I was a happy man. He did a great job. He was here when he said he was going to be. And I did have to wait around for him. He did what he said he was going to do and all the equipment that he needed. He did not waste any time.

The men are good at what they do, they communicate the problem, give a solid estimate on the cost, they fixed the controller and they had us up and running on the same day.

Very happy with thier work. I would recommend.

As usually Rich's saves the day and maybe a life, mine. My furnace keep going off. I called Rich to see what the problem. Given it is oil fired forced hot air, their assumption was that it was dirty. Yes it was dirty, however it was completely clogged up with carbon. While cleaning it they realized that the fire box had burnt through and the furnace had to be replaced.
By the way the have always hated this furnace. They did not install it.
It was quite a job because the intake and outtake for air flow had never been set up properly, causing residue to build up. That meant ducts had to be made.......

The employees arrived on time and looked at the problem. They said that the pipe was cut to long and they would have to replace it and install the right size one this involved breaking the basement ceiling for access to pipe, not knowing any better i scheduled an appointment for the next day. When they left i went on the internet to see if there was a less expensive solution, typing in problem in search box the solution to my problem was a simple and easy fix to just cut off excess pipe under toilet bowl, i went to home depot for special tool needed for job it ran $15.00 came home trimmed cut pipe no need for major construction. Called company that same day and cancelled my appointment for next day. A few days after cancelling my appointment i received a bill for $60.00 i then called the owner and asked why he was charging me when it was a free estimate he stated because i cancelled the work, i tried to explain to him that if he is giving a free estimate it should not matter if i do the work or not but he didnt want to hear it.

The first time I called for service, they did not return my call, though it was late when I made my call. The next time I called, they answered and took very good care of us, so we're inclined to overlook the first failure to respond.
The dispatcher promised to send a technician immediately, and did just that, even though it was late enough in the day that I expected to have to wait until the next day. The plumber who showed up was friendly and professional. He got the valve replaced very quickly and provided us with additional information about a possible future project. He didn't even make a mess!
We were very favorably impressed with him.

Two servicemen were courteous and professional. They did excellent work
and were very responsive. The price for the water heater was about $35
more expensive than another company's quote. However, the excellent service was worth the extra money.

These guys were great. Fast to return my calls, easy to work with my wierd schedules (its a vacation home and we are not there all the time) and reasonably priced. We needed alot of small stuff done (move washer connections, new sump pump and condenser pump and one large item - replace old tank water heater with new tankless heater. All work was done very professionally, ontime and exceptionally neatly.

Prompt service. 40 minutes start to finish.

They are great. They are here all the time because I have three houses that they worked on. They have redone plumbing. They have fixed the heating system. They have taken care of water purification system. They have done everything. They are the best I have found in this area. I use them regularly. They are pretty prompt when I need them. They are trustworthy. I haven't cheated me and I am not worried about them coming in. They have solved problems that nobody had been able to solve. They are good. If they can't give the answer, they don't try to make one up and keep up the problem. I was having a problem with water going off. Another company replaced the whole water pump system, but it kept happening. Rich service guys figured it out that it was my water purification system and it was like a $30 job. Another company charged me $3500 for the work. They will never say that they will be here by 9. They will come between 8 and 10.

I have known of them in the area here, so that is how I knew about him. I called several providers including Rich. They called back, and I decided to go with them. It was pretty expensive. They charged around $2000. It sounded reasonable for the hours they put in. They were fine. They were nice to work with. They came when they said they were going to come. There was no defined timeframe because the time required for these kinds of plumbing jobs can only be known when the job is undertaken. I felt there was good communication back and forth. I didn't have any problem at all. They were able do deliver. When I told them about a sink that was not working, they fixed it the same day. I would use them again in the future.

He told me how I could fix something easy by myself and he recommended what parts to buy. He is honest and reliable, and the price for the work he has done was reasonable. I appreciate that he tried to help me save money by showing me how to do a job myself.

Overall---great.

They installed a new drain to my septic system. They arrived on time and the work was done in about three hours. They cleaned up afterward and when the bill arrived it was less than the estimate! A month earlier they had installed a new hot water heater. Both jobs were done efficiently and economically. I highly recommend these guys

We called Rich Service on a Monday morning, and the dispatcher said two of the guys were nearby just finishing another job and would be there within a hour. Within an hour, Jonah (who is the owner's son) and Jim had arrived, assessed the water pump in the basement, drained it so they could fix the air pressure, and were done quickly. They did say that the air bladder might need replacing, but that they would try just adjusting the pressure first, and for us to see how it responded over time. It's been two weeks now and all is still fine. We have used Rich Service for a number of jobs over the years, including having our central air conditioning installed, having an outside water spigot installed, and various other repairs. They are pretty reasonable and very dependable, and nice people. They can fix most anything, and will tackle most everything including handyman jobs.
