 + 0 moreI saw Scott at a neighbor's home and asked if he could stop by after he was finished and he did so. I showed him what needed to be done. He immediately took measurements and promised to get back to me as soon as he had the numbers. A couple of days later, he called and I had a proposal in hand. I let him know that we wanted him for the project but, due to a situation brought on by Superstorm Sandy, we were financially not able to contract him at that moment. He understood and told us to call him when we were ready as he was going to buy the materials. After a couple of weeks, we did call him and he promptly completed the project. He offered a good price and the work performed was excellent!
Description of Work: Scott rebuilt a section of our old wooden retaining wall. Other contractors balked at the job or wanted to charge an exhorbitant amount of money as the tongue and groove wood used for this project is "not available anymore". Scott quoted an acceptable price without flinching.
