"It's so good to have feed back from you. Thank you for letting us know what we are doing right! We hope you spread those kind words about our company to all your friends :) We look forward to working with you again."
"Sorry for the delay in responding to your comments. You are right about this past spring, we had some totally unexpected things happen creating stress on the normal flow of the business. As with many small companies things aren't always perfect. We are back on track and hope you'll reconsider us for your next project. In the end, we are so glad you are happy with the finished product."
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS COMPANY!
Starting with Mary Jane helping with design and expert advice, helping me to get a remnant stone because of size, the right tile, etc. She was always upbeat, kind, and helpful. I even made some changes to the type of fixtures I wanted and she followed through as if it was no bother.
Randall came out to look at the job before I received the estimate. He was extremely helpful and "nothing was too difficult" to give me what I was told by others could not be done--and he did everything beyond my expectations. I received the estimate within 24 hours and they expedited the time frame to get everything done because I was leaving for business travel.
As a leadership consultant and behavioral analyst I teach companies how to not just externally provide customer service to get and keep customers (though that is good) but to genuinely value the customer and what the customer values. Everything I have witnessed with this company exemplifies that they do value the customer, the quality of work they provide demonstrates that and they treat as valuable what is important to the customer.
Now, here is the above and beyond call of duty example that this company displayed to me through the whole process:
1. Randall was so respectful of my home, cleaned up after himself even when I told him it was okay to leave the things out because he was coming back in a day to finish the project. No...he cleaned and vacuumed. Wow! The first time he came to our home I told him we are a "shoeless" house...never had to remind him after that.
2. He was pulling off an old counter top and putting on a new stone one (of course there would be some need for paint touch ups--it's construction stuff) along removing old floor and laying title, removing floor baseboards, with new towel bars, etc. He asked if we had any bathroom paint and was immaculate about every touch up (which was not his responsibility...but he cared how it looked.
3. We had some speckles on the stained wood baseboard from a previous paint job and he asked for something to clean that up - he made our baseboard look so much nicer then before they were pulled out. Once again, this was not his responsibility but he really cared about excellence.
4. There was no access panel for tub plumbing and he went way out of his way to put an access panel that actually looked nice when he was done...and it was inside a closet where perfect "beauty" was not anticipated and it looks great.
5. The big deal for me was that there was NO STRESS in the whole process. I hate remodeling projects and construction, but there were absolutely no problems and my house was not disrupted. (In fact Mary Jane said to me before we started - work on one project at a time so you are not without during the process...her counsel in many things helped me to make the right choices and save money meaning "less sales" for them at the moment, but in the process they've gained a repeat customer).
Bottom line: Not only would I hire them again, but I am anxious to redo our master bathroom--much bigger project. I don't have any of the dread you feel when you go into a remodel. I trust them!
Lastly, Randall has an "over-the-top" work ethic that really impresses me! He carried the extra tile into my storage, did all types of little finishing touches. The job superseded my expectations...but now I've got great expectations for my next project.
"We hope that you accept our sincere apologies for not properly communicating with you. At Lesher we try to address repair work as the schedule permits, calling our customers back as soon as possible. This sometimes takes several weeks until we see how things line up and work out. However, you had a deadline and we are truly sorry you missed it."
We saw an unique granite counter top at Lesher's. This was in stock. We reviewed the back splash choices with Diane in the showroom and opted to pick one to match the counter top. We decided to have the tiles put on vertically instead of the normal horizontal installation. The prices provided to us was more than competitive.
We received the quote on October 3rd, 2014. While the quote took a little longer than anticipated, we weren't in a hurry and Diane kept us aware of what was going on. The paperwork accompanying the quote stated the back splash we had selected was discontinued. We made another trip to Middletown and select another tile pattern as wll as a new faucet/sink from a store recommended by Diane. BTW, Lesher's was extremely busy at that time of the year, We didn't have any completion date in mind which worked well for both parties.
We sent them a deposit, and they scheduled a visit to do the template on October 13th. The old counter top was removed on October 24th, and our new one installed later in the morning. We had picked out a new faucet and sink after our second visit to Lesher's, and which also was installed on the same day. There were some wall repairs required after they removed our old counter/ back splash that morning.
The tiled back splash was installed over three days on November 21, 22 and 24, 2014.
We are extremely pleased with the entire process, including the costs. They were very respectful of our home and did a far better job than we had done on our previous house.
The quality of the material and installation was excellent, the accurracy of the installation was impecable. The individuals worked with our budjet and offered a variety of material options. Glad a friend referred them to us.
Very helpful in our getting just the right pieces for our kitchen.
Templating and installation went extremely well.
Able to get a bookmatch seam which is practically invisible!
Very happy with the finished product.
