KEEFER'S GARAGE

We first went to Keefer's garage on the recommendation of a coworker, over 15 years ago, and since that time we have rarely gone anywhere else when needing any type of auto repair, large or small. We have had all types of repairs done by Keefer's over the years from replacing computerized sensors, to replacing timing chains,clutches,tires and state inspections..All repairs are personally done, or overseen, by Mr.Rodney Keefer, the owner of the business, a truly honest mechanic, who stands by his work.We have always found prices to be fair, and reasonable for this area. There have been a very few times ( twice in over 15 years) when a repair was extremely idiosyncratic due to something unique in the manufacturing of the model of one of our vehicles,that Mr.Keefer referred us to the manufacturers dealership, as he did not feel he could properly accomplish the needed repair. In no way did this diminish our trust in Rodney Keefer,if anything it strengthened our trust in his judgement, and honesty,because he told us over the phone BEFORE we took the vehicle in, as we normally would just have taken it to him first,if we had done it our way, we would have had a bill for an extra 2 hours of labor. A few things to keep in mind if you choose to use "Keefer's Garage" for your auto repair needs: .this is a small town business, run by a working owner, so sometimes hours are a little different than you would expect...for example, Mr.Keefer often leaves the shop for an hour, or so, in the evening to go home and eat dinner,then returns and works into the evening hours, so there may be no one in the shop around 5, or 6 p.m. We do recommend that you call for exact hours. It has been our experience that Mr.Keefer and staff are happy to provide you an estimate before beginning any work,but it is NOT AUTOMATIC, so please ask. If you are female, have no worries, you will be treated with the same respect as any male customer. Itemized bills are standard with all repairs, and explanations of repair work are cheerfully given without any attitude. In summary, we have over 15 years experience of EXCELLENT,HONEST, service with Keefer's Garage, we highly recommend this business!
