"It is unfortunate that Mrs [Member Name Removed] had to take the time to leave a 1 star review (most of which is utter nonsense) for a company who had showed her nothing but professionalism thus far, but in our lovely state of Pennsylvania with 12million people we do unfortunately occasionally run into these types of individuals, albeit very rarely. Mrs [Member Name Removed] initially reached out about her project and an appointment was scheduled to review the scope of work. When meeting in person and reviewing the project, we soon saw that the proposed project (fixing a DIY landscape install) possibly fell outside of our offered niche services and she was told at the start that, "we might not be the best company for this project, but we'll have to see what we can do for you," and out of courtesy we still spent our valuable time on site and took down the notes for the potential job. While on site we very much so understood the project she was proposing, however we also recommended better solutions stemming from our extensive experience dealing with all sorts of professional landscape installs we have done. Unfortunately though we don't believe Mrs [Member Name Removed] was understanding all the options we were proposing right from the start, even after showing her many pictures of our work as examples, and also explaining several times our quality install processes for her potential project. Eventually though we did finally wrap up the appointment and she was told we would be in touch. In the following days Mrs [Member Name Removed] received an email or two as a friendly & inviting follow up from our automated software, which thanked her for her time and then some. During that following busy week in the middle of our already hectic season, we worked up all our quotes in order of appearance, and eventually got to Mrs Sander's project. After reviewing the job outline again in more detail this time before creating the quote to send, we did soon deem that we weren't the best fit for this particular project at this time (as is the case for occasional quotes & inquires we have to unfortunately turn down) and politely let her know this and apologized for the inconvenience. In response to our polite notice she refused our apology and became increasingly unfriendly & boorish and made some quite ridiculous conjectures towards us, all while still not understanding that her project fell outside of our specific services we offered (even after explaining in detail to her all our reasons as to why). So while our original choice to decline the job was really because it fell outside of our offered niche services, we do now see with these 'red flags' from Mrs [Member Name Removed] reaction that we also avoided a potential headache if we were to have worked with her on this project. We wish Mrs [Member Name Removed] all the best with her future landscaping project & the company that works with her; it just wont be Eagle Landscapes who will be her service provider."
