"I am sorry you had a bad experience. This is highly uncharacteristic of our staff as we pride ourselves on customer service. We always try our best to respond in a timely manner. We did reach out to you first thing on Monday morning 9/26 to set up an appointment but you had already hired someone, just 2 business days after your initial phone call inquiry. We are not aware of any problems with our phone number and check our voicemail multiple times per day. If you are still interested in having this work done or wish to speak with us direct, please contact our office at 610-228-2030 and we will assist you promptly."
I also have to extend my thanks to the lead on the project, Chris. I could hear them working from upstairs, and one of the subcontractors was a little, shall we say, salty. Chris remained totally professional, and got all the workers to come together to get the job done right. Lastly, but most important of all, was his humanity and kindness. My father passed away unexpectedly the week before construction was to begin, and the funeral was out of town. As part of our contract, we were supposed to have all furniture and personal belongings removed from the construction area prior to work beginning. We got home after midnight the night before, and Chris and his team arrived at 7am. We had not moved any items, and even though we broke the terms of the contract, Chris stepped up and moved everything himself. He was so kind, and did everything he could so we would not have to worry about anything during a difficult time. He was also very responsive throughout the project, and even immediately answered emails I sent 9:30 at night the day after he got married!
We had such a wonderful experience I would highly recommend Tom and Chris to anyone looking to do work on their home, and will call on them for any future home renovation needs.
*Note: I did give them a "B" for responsiveness because they were a little slow in the beginning, but as per other reviews, they had some people out and were running short staffed in November/December. We chose to begin the project after the New Year and it was smooth sailing after that.
November 30th, I received another email from Tom, asking if I was still looking for a proposal for what I requested. Yup, still looking for that estimate......I told him yes, and he emailed me again that day, saying if I was still interested he would have a quote sent over the following day.
December 1st. I received a quote for the patio and attic steps. He didn't include the door trim I requested, but I figured I'd go over that again when the work was scheduled.
December 2nd. I emailed him that I'd like to schedule the patio stairs now and also have a drawer fixed that just broke that day, but hold off on the attic stairs for now.
December 3rd. He asked me to send him a picture of the drawer.
December 9th. Received another email saying they have been short 2 men for the past week or so and things were hectic, but they were back on schedule now and would be catching up to everyone shortly.
***crickets***
Its now December 21st. I have yet to have anything scheduled. Two weeks since I was last told they were catching up with everyone, and not a word since. I had also requested an estimate by Mr. Handyman, but they told me I am out of their coverage area, and recommended Total Home Solution to me!

2. Identified the areas where the damage had occurred. Apparently the damage was on the entire length of the deck.
3. Replaced insulation, house wrap etc. and the plywood and siding.
4. Reused the Steps of the existing deck for getting to the backyard.
