STANLEY'S LANDSCAPING

They are a general contractor. It was a fair experience. They had to come back to cover the asphalt driveway because they didn't do it for the first time. The price was fair.

Cuts on a regular basis. Dependable and reliable.

Poorly.

Price for about an acre is reasonable. Good experience except for when they weed whacked our square foot garden which was inside a raised bed. Come on...seriously guys??? Found that his fall yard cleanup rates were WAY too expensive so we did not use him for that.

Stanley sent 2 of his men to clean up our yard from the winter. They use air rakes and blew away most of the debris and also picked up anything larger that the air rake couldn't move. They removed everything and when they left the yard looked ready for spring. They do a good job and arrive when they are scheduled.

We also use their grass cutting service. Prices are reasonable and they arrive weekly on the same day, weather permitting, to cut the grass and trim the edges of the lawn. They are very reliable.

We once used them to prune shrubs that we had no time to keep up with and they did do their best, but they are NOT landscapers. They just cut everything back without regard for the type of shrub they were cutting. Some can not take a radical cut back, like blue spruces, etc. I would not use them for that service again because they don't know the professional way to prune and shape bushes.

We've used Stanley for years to mow the lawn when my husband can't get to it, usually 6 to 8 times a summer. For the last few years he's also handled cleaning out the garden beds in the spring and mulching them . He's always been fair, honest and reasonable to deal with, and punctual in getting back to us when we call. His crew does good work, always trimming nicely around the garden beds and blowing away any grass or debris that ends up on the driveway and sidewalk.

OUR NEIGHBORS RECOMMENDED STANLEY AND WE HAVE BEEN REALLY HAPPY WITH HIM. HE PROVIDES PROMPT SERVICE, HONEST ESTIMATES, AND EXCELLENT WORK. IT TOOK 3 MEN A WHOLE MORNING TO REMOVE THE BUSHES (THE YEWS HAD BIG ROOTS) AND THE PRICE WAS FAIR. THE ONLY THING STANLEY IS SLOW ABOUT IS GIVING US A BILL, BUT WE AREN'T COMPLAINING ABOUT THAT.
