Riddle Hospital Radiology Department

I went into the radiologist's office to show them the pathology report -- I was in there so often that the receptionist had Dr. Russin call me. I told her that what she had thought was a tumor was actually a very rare type of cancer. She argued with me and was very hostile. If I'd taken her at her word, my specialists have said that I'd probably be dead by now.

Scheduled for a mammogram at 8:30 f/b Ultrasound 9:15. Told to arrive at 8:15 to register which I did and was the first and only patient at that time. Was not taken back until 8:45 to change and mammo didn't happen until 9:00 or so. Then told to wait which I did until 9:30 at which point more mammo pictures had to be taken because not clear the first time and tech forgot to take one image. Then waited until 10:30 at which point I should have been well on my way to work. No cell service in office, so unable to contact employer to inform would be late. After asking several people how much longer, finally seen for my Ultrasound (~1.5 hrs late) which took all of 3 minutes. I was handed a piece of paper, told I was fine and shown the door. Not much discussion from the tech and no indication that a doctor or radiologist would come in to discuss my films. Several other patients came and went in the time I sat and waited despite having the first appointment of the day. Minimal communication by the tech's and not great bedside manner. 2 hrs 45 minutes just too excessive for anyone to wait

Dr. Sharkey is a very well known surgeon and he is very thorough.  He is also a pain management surgeon.
