He was the best guy of the bunch. His name is Steve. He's real good. He's excellent. It was a good price. He's very good.

Excellent workmanship. They were very professional and extremely neat. Workmanship was beyond reproach and our township building inspector stated job was one of the very best he has seen.

The service was great.  The stained drywall was patched and now looks brand new as if the ceiling was never patched.  I would definitely recommend McShane Construction to others and plan to us them again as needed.

It went excellent.  He did great work with great attention to detail.

Stephen came on a Saturday and I had the proposal by the following Tuesday.  I asked for some changes and they were completed as we spoke on the phone so I could sign off on the proposal that night.  Stephen called and set up a date for the work to be started on Sept. 23.   He called on the 21st to confirm and give a time.  Arrived on the 23rd worked all day and completed the structure on Wednesday.  I was very pleased with the enclosure as well as the additional work he did on my siding,  which was most likely the cause of the water in my home.  He did not charge for any additional work he did.  Stephen and all the employees were very polite and the clean up was much better than I had ever expected.

The owner came to our home to look at the project and provide an estimate.  He was very punctual and provided an estimate on the spot.  We decided to have him do the work because we wanted the project completed ASAP.  The quality of the work done was good, but the cost was high. 

He never called me back on the day he said or at any other point.

I like how McShane comes out and goes over what needs to be done, then sends a written estimate by email. That way we both agree on what is needed. If something is unclear, we work it out in advance. Makes for a more direct, cost-effective and timely approach to getting repairs and improvements. His workers are generally very polite, clean, well spoken and clean up after themselves. The work is done to good standards. In the case of today's toilet replacement, we didn't go the estimate route, because it was more straight-forward and needed to be done asap.

Great, very professional.  He is reasonable and honest.

Stephen responded promptly from first call to set up appt , and to several emails regarding estimate and any work scope adjustments. I was open to any ideas of how to fix the basement storage room, and was pleased with his suggestion of using the cedar plywood. He finished the room with added wood trim, which made it look nicely finished.  He was more than accommodating to help with any other minor repairs needed in my home, and I wouldn't hesitate to call in the future.

Our experience was very positive right from the start. When we contacted Mr. Mcshane, he responded quickly and stopped by to assess the damage and provide us with an estimate. Then the situation changed when the water leak occurred, and Mr. Mcshane returned to revise the estimate. He was easily accessible via phone and email. Mr. Mcshane contacted us in advance and explained what would be completed and approximately how long the job would take. When the crew arrived, they immediately covered all floors and set up plastic over the doorways. The crew worked constantly and efficiently both days. Mr. Mcshane was here as well, supervising and participating in the work process. They were courteous, quiet, and they cleaned up all debris at the end of the day. Mr. Mcshane then returned to inspect the work and receive payment. We were very pleased with results, and the whole process was easy for us. We would definitely have this company return to do more work for us, and we recommend them to others with similar issues.

McShane is responsive, and shows up when he says he will. His work is of high quality, and completed on time. He does big and small jobs well, no complaints about small repairs. While doing an unrelated repair in my bathroom he noticed a loose towel rack and repaired it of his own initiative, no charge. This is my go to guy for all jobs around the house, big and small. I highly recommend him.

Mr. McShane replied to my email, made an appointment and came out and gave us an estimate to remove and replace 9 old storm windows. We set a date for installation, gave him a down payment, and he ordered the windows. He arrived with an assistant on time. I was home but it wasn't necessary to be there because all the work was done outdoors and I wasn't inconvenienced at all. It took them about 90 minutes to do the job - they are very organized and worked together well. The work was top quality, and cleanup was such that you'd never know anyone had been there. No trash, scraps, nothing left behind. We felt very comfortable with Mr. McShane. He is honest and reliable, and I highly recommend him. Most important, the new storm windows have completely cut off the draft on this old house and we can now keep the thermostat lower. Wish we had done this years ago.
