Excellent , caring service .

The entire experience was excellent. I was immediately greeted by a very pleasant woman who listened to my request and went in the back to get a gentleman named Karl. The first thing he did was look at my diamond wedding band and assured me that I did not have to spend any money to reinforce the ring since the band still had some time to go before it needed to be reinforced. At the current price of gold these days, I was delighted to hear that and appreciated his honest assessment and advice. I left my mothers topaz ring and they told me they would call me to see if they could do anything with it to secure the stone and rebuild the prong.
I received a call later that day to let me know that the stone had damage on all four corners and it could not be secured into the setting.
Because the ring had sentimental value he offered to get a price for me on putting a similar stone back in the ring if I wanted to keep the setting and design intact - I decided to see what it would cost and based on the cost I would then decide what to do.
I should say that I have had several interactions with Karl and the other woman ( i am sorry that I dont know her name) going back and forth about my mother's ring trying to make a decision - they have always been professional and patient. Here's the bottom line for me: If I can afford to have the stone replaced I will, if I can't afford it I won't but I will definitely use Douber jewelers in the future - they are now my preferred jeweler. Honest, Reliable and a pleasure to deal with.

I left the items to be repaired on 5/29/10 and received a call less than a week later telling me that they were ready for pickup. Everything was done to satisfaction.
