Regretful! After signing a contract to rehab a rowhome, the
contractor started whining about the price of the contract. It was scheduled to
be completed in one month, it took three months. Walls were painted unprofessionally,
streaks and unevenly; painted the glass of the windows. Roof of the garage was done
incorrectly, this is what the inspector said, ?This roof has had recently done repairs to the roof
surface, and the rafters and deck in those areas. However, the repair areas
from the roof have countless defects and ponding water issues. The scupper box
drain located to the right of the garage doors was removed and lined with the
roof membrane which is completely incorrect. This area is currently leaking
inside the garage. It is strongly recommended to remove the entire roof and
replace, including counter flashing and scupper box drain?.  The garbage disposal was installed with no
on/off switch and it was defective.  The
contractor was menacing to place a mechanic?s lien if we didn?t pay.  So, of course we paid in order to avoid
further legal cost.

It went great. I'd highly recommend him. He's very personable and will accommodate if you change your mind.

There is no better contractor than John!  His prices are fair, he is super reliable, he will bend over backwards to make you happy and he's a great guy to have leading a team. I had his team in my house for 3 months which was hard no matter who was there.  But he has the best people and they were super courteous, clean and very helpful.  I was very vague I what I actually wanted (because I didn't know) and John helped me to plan it so that the project came out wonderful!
