Complete renovations on a house, all new kitchen, all new hardwood flooring, install ceiling fans in every room, painting entire house (2 floors), all new carpeting (BR, hallways, entire finished basement and stairs), built a huge handicap ramp, vinyl flooring in hall bathroom, and lots more. Finished on time (2-1/2 weeks) and just barely over his quoted price.  Cannot say enuf about John and his men--this was the 3rd major project he did for us, starting back in 1994 when he put an addition on our house (2 more BR, full large bathroom, finished the basement, attic with pull-down stairs).  Some of the same people were still working for him in 2012, from way back in 1994.
We entrusted John with keys to the house from day #1and NEVER had a worry about doing that. Honest as the day is long and neat to a fault.  Immaculate cleanup when done.  Respected our privacy, kept us informed all along the way each and every time.  Stands by his work and came back a few times when minor issues surfaced.....not on his work, btw, problems with the products we had selected! We never expected to be able to contact a contractor months after the job was done BUT with john, you could. Quite simply, he is the best.  He is also good with designing a project and meticulous with all details.
Also did all prep work, painting, etc. to prepare our house for sale in 2008 and did many odd jobs for me assembling office furniture I bought from www.CB2.com etc.  He can do and does virtually anything and is good at anything you could possibly ask him to do. Fair, honest, good at everything he does, so only the best adjectives for him!!!
