 + -1 moreI contacted Joan Marie to provide a paint color consultation for my new home. She was very responsive and set an appointment for the next week. She provided excellent advice and brought with her a wide range of color samples. She also helped me to find a painting contractor. I will definitely call Joan Marie again for other projects.

 + -1 moreJoan Marie is terrific!! She really gets to know your style and works within your budget. She has a lot of resources for discount furniture, wallpaper, fabrics etc... as well as a large number of really good contractors that she can recommend. I was incredibly pleased with the results of her efforts thus far and will continue to use her in the future!
Description of Work: Joan Marie has helped with the redecorating of our new home. Her initial consultation was $150, and she and her assistant spent three hours with us going through the various rooms, talking about ways to rearrange furniture, colors for the walls, and other decorating ideas. She then came for a second 2.5 hour home consultation where she worked with us on wallpaper ideas for the hall, helped us strategize on changes to our family room, and gave us suggestions for our dining room furniture additions and lighting. For this, she charged $120. Finally, she went shopping with me and consulted with me over the internet for various furniture pieces for which I paid her $250.
