We had an agreement for half the money to start, and half on completion. We paid the first half, and they put in two days work. Then we waited a month before the next one day of work. At that time they asked for additional money for materials. Not as agreed, but I paid it. I assumed that meant they would be buying the materials and installing them the next day. But no. We then waited another month for them to finish, with one more days work. They didn't keep us informed of what was going on. We had to pursue them with phone calls to find out what was going on. There were long delays and they asked for money they weren't due. In all a bad experience.
