Everything went as expected.

They delivered the firewood when promised. I've been using their service for 25 years for both tree trimming and removal and firewood and would highly recommend their services.

Carney Tree Company is the best. I've used them twice now. The first time, after leaving voicemail explaining where the tree I wanted removed was located, Mr. Carney stopped by one day while I was at work and then left me voicemail with a price to remove it. I then left voicemail accepting the proposal. One day soon thereafter, I came home and the tree was gone, without a trace. You couldn't really tell a tree had ever grown there; it was now just a circle of sawdust in the grass. A short time later I got an invoice for our agreed-upon price. My second use was just last month when Mr. Carney stopped by to give me a proposal to remove several smaller evergreens and some weeds growing up a pine. Again, the price was right and I know the work will be done right.

He was good. He got back to me in a good amount of time. He wasn't able to do the stuff the day that he has stated because it rained but he came the next dry day and he got the work done very quickly. They had a good number of people that cleaned up. And, it was a really good price too. He was very quiet though, not that that's a problem but I think that it would help for people to understand you're just a quiet guy. He is definitely approachable but not real boisterous. I've recommended him and both of my neighbors on both sides of my house used him.

Chris the head of the crew arrived on the agreed date.  He had 3 guys with him. My boys enjoyed watching them do all of the tree trimming/cutting/grinding out the front and side windows.   They did an amazing job and provided a show for my boys at the same time.   Chris looked like he could have done his job blindfolded...he was the main climber and cutter...we were very impressed.   We expected for such a big job, it would take all day, BUT the whole job took only 3-4 hours and they were completely cleaned up.  They were by far the most professional service we have used ever...Neither my husband or I had to oversee anything, they knew what had to be done and did it.   Our neighbor was so impressed, he asked them to grind down one of his stumps on his property and the guys did that too!   I had gotten two other estimates that were considerably more then Jim Carney's estimate, but honestly if they were less we still would have gone w/Jim because he was a no nonsense, straight forward guy.   Our property looks amazing.  We will be using him again in the future for sure as we have 2 other trees that need some work and hopefully, when my husband finally agrees to give up on the ugly, half dead cherry tree in the front yard.

It went very well.  Jim has been a busy guy due to the storms and rain this year.  However, he responded to my voicemail quickly, came by after his work day and walked the yard with me, consulting on the various trees and the overgrowth in certain spots.  He made a few suggestions that were very helpful, recommended against taking out the large tree right then, and, when we settled on what to do, his estimate was very, very reasonable.  He is obviously a hard working guy who runs a business and gives a fair price.  I liked supporting the local business owner too (rather than the large national company) and he made it easy.  We agreed that it wasn't a rush situation (there was no fallen tree blocking my driveway or such), but I came home the next week one day and my yard looked soooo much better!  A couple days later, I noticed the stumps were ground on the 3 we decided on. I will definitely call him first the next time I need tree work.

 Both were up near the house. His quote was 50% less than the leading competition.I needed the work done during a certain period to allow for deck construction and landscape renovation to start on time. He responded within 24 hrs to voicemail messages. He also was courteous including using mats when driving trucks and equipment onto the property. 

 Mr. Carney was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and provided the best price for the jobs.

Very happy with service. Mr Carney was in constant contact about the job. He knew how to care for the trees and gave us good advice about potentially dangerous branches. We would use him again

They came when they said they are going to come, and they did a great job. They were very nice. They were excellent overall.

I called this company for an estimate and they gave me their estimate almost immediately. It was so low I thought it might be an error! I'm usually pretty diligent about getting three different estimates for a job, but I didn't think I could beat that price. I gave them the go-ahead and when I went back the trees were gone. They even took some sticks I had piled in our yard from spring-cleanup that I didn't know what to do with. I didn't ask for stump removal, but the stump they left was very short and easily covered with a planter until I want to take the time to remove it. I can't recommend this company highly enough. I've never had a home-repair issue cost *less* than I expected, it was quite refreshing!

Work was great. They were on time and did a great job. Jim told us in detail what he was going to do. He had to remove my fence so he could get his truck behind the house.When they were done they cleaned the yard and put the fence back up. He also did some trimming to homes around me the same day when they came and asked him. Other tree service said the job was hard and cost would be 3000.00 but Jim did it for 1800.00 and he was great. All around great job worth the money.

They did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them. He is very busy so it may take him some time to get back to us but it is worth the wait.

We started discussing the project in the fall and he put us on the list. It took several months for him to do the work but he apologized that he had lost a man due to injury and so, he was behind. The work was completed satisfactorily and all the debris was cleaned up.

Price was less than 1/2 other estimates. Took more than a month & numerous calls before he was available but he did a good job at an excellent price.

They did a great job. A couple of branches fell on the house but it was no big deal. Their estimate was well below the other estimates that we received. With the stump ground it looks like there was never a tree there. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and have!
