They have been asked by the township and by the neighbors to do minimal upkeep of mowing the grass at the curb, keeping trash picked up, clearing debris, fixing a decrepit sidewalk and fixing a fence. After 5 years of requests, neighbors got the township involved and that led to the fence being fixed and a letter telling us that their intention was to continue to "naturalize" the property and, rather than fix the sidewalk, they requested permission to "naturalize" it by allowing the grass to continue to grow through the cracks until the sidewalk could no longer be seen. Grass at the curb grows knee high before neighbors mow, weeds on the interior of the property are now shoulder high and trash mounts - neighbor and Township official appeals to Camco and Jordan Estates are given lip service but are rarely acted upon. They have a maintenance truck passing the properties in question at least once week as they take care of other property nearby and have obviously made a conscious decision for neglect and abandonment. Professional property managers at a company of this size surely know the difference between abandonment/neglect and naturalizing. In fact the adjacent property owned by another neighbor is naturalized and it's lovely. Camco managed property is slum property in a nice neighborhood. Their stonewalling response that they intended to continue "naturalizing" to Township requests to clean up property they've barely touched once a year for 5 years is indicative of a business that has no integrity.
